Romania is doing really well to stop France. If Romania had 2 attacking players with quality or quick wingers then they could already lead. France's defence is available for holes, they have to improve it. Martial has to come before it will be too late, they need to push harder and be more dangerous to reach the victory tonight.

Just thinking France haven't steam rollered, Romania have held their own.

I don't think France have been especially disappointing. They haven't created a huge number of big chances, but Romania by all accounts are a solid side and have done pretty well to close the space in midfield.

 

As spectacular as a midfield of Kanté-Matuidi-Pogba (and Payet) looks on paper, I think they have too many players who naturally play directly (or at perhaps spectacularly), or who are too sloppy in possession. It's a shame Diarra is out of the squad; out of the options available Rabiot might be their best bet. I don't think Griezmann has played very well though.

Another great chance for Romania, they have had the best chances on the night. France look poor at the back, it will cost them in the long run i think. Spain, Germany and especially England (  ) will open them up.
