August 25, 20169 yr Has anyone ever handed in a transfer request to join us? Stones....by accident That almost didn't end in disaster..
August 25, 20169 yr And our response to their loan of Palasic is...stick, sunshine ?, where, don't shine...
August 25, 20169 yr "AC Milan has received a significant offer for its player Alessio Romagnoli from Chelsea FC. The player is not for sale, therefore this negotiation will not continue. The club wants to thank Chelsea fc with whom we will continue to have a great working relationship" https://www.acmilan.com/en/news/first-team/2016-08-25/ac-milan-official-statement Come back Papy! All is forgiven!
August 25, 20169 yr he wasn't our first choice though. i don't understand why we tried so hard to go after romagnoli when we've always wanted koulibaly (who is yet to sign a new contract). it seemed koulibaly was A choice, maksimovic was B choice, and romagnoli was C choice, but we've been pushing hard to get romagnoli in last couple days to coax napoli into considering the koulibaly offer. no idea where we go from here, it's either maksimovic or bust methinks because who else is out there of high quality and obtainable for a reasonable fee?

Is Maksimovic high quality? I have literally not seen a single Serie A game in yonks. Edited August 25, 20169 yr by MissouriBlue

We thank the Chelsea Club with which Milan will continue to have excellent relations sports ever.”

August 25, 20169 yr Author If we don't end up landing a new CB it may end up being a blessing. We may not reach the heights we want for this particular season, but if it means Tomori or CS get a run of 10-12 game somewhere because of injury it could be beneficial to them and prove they are capable. August 25, 20169 yr Romagnoli has a higher ceiling than Koulibaly though, he is still only 20/21. Seems we have had a €35m bid rejected for Savic also. Can't get my head round our thinking with these late bids, why are we running around with less than a week till the window closes?
August 25, 20169 yr Maybe is wishful thinking on my part but could this attempts also be smokescreens to make our real targets come down in price? Maybe despite what Conte so publicly speaks about (lack of defenders) is not what he truly wants if he thinks he can gamble with the defenders he has at his disposal (including the young guys Tomori and Clarke-Salter). Who knows what Chelsea wants at this point because the attack is not looking that great either. Maybe a double dip of James and Ric Rodriguez is what we want. Or maybe we just trying to drive up Cuadrado's price so we sell him at better terms with the pretest we want funds to buy players.
August 25, 20169 yr Yeah but the more teams that put their fingers up at us for their players the more the likes of Napoli put their prices up and up...
August 25, 20169 yr I am not sure what you mean. But anyway, I think Napoli sounds like they are ridiculous to deal with, that I agree with. End of day though, will they blink?
