May 4, 20179 yr We play on Monday then Friday, spuds play Friday then Sunday so 3 days rest vs 7, how the f**k does that make sense at this point of the season, FA at it again, shadey c**ts. In any case we play before them if we can beat boro and West Brom it means if they lose at UTD the title is gone, no way they manage that pressure and a tough game against UTD imo, win the next 2 and a UTD win and we are champions and a f**king boat load of w**kers signs to the spuds and the FA as well as the w**ky media Edited May 4, 20179 yr by DonAntonio

Our gap between boro and west brom is like playing Saturday then Wednesday. Between west brom and watford is like playing Saturday and then Tuesday. Just like we have to do most years in the champions league. If we cannot cope and beat the likes of boro, west brom and watford what chance do we have against sides like Juventus next year?

That's not the point why do spurs get twice as long a rest, at the end of the season players tire easier for obvious reasons, and are usually carrying little knocks, a longer rest is an advantage and there's no doubt about that, whether we can cope or not is besides the fact, point is why is it being given

If anything i prefer us engged in games instead of us having breaks and havingour players having players injured during commercial shoots ( COURTOIS)
May 4, 20179 yr You are correct a couple of matches work in Spurs favour yet the last two figures work in our favour. Spurs play Leicester on the Thursday and then Hull on the Sunday and both away.

They've been doing a poor job if they're trying to get Tottenham the title.. how long has it been? 57 years? Can't see Middlesbrough getting any where near us here and now that we are over that awkward 7-8 game left mark, I think the pressure is firmly back on Tottenham.

That's to do with out performances why we are in this position, on a separate topic it doesn't mean the FA don't try to manipulate the league at the very least to make it "more competitive" because they most certainly do, if they had any opportunity to give us a respective ban for example they would be twice as harsh on us as anyone else, they were fannying around last title winning season as well, you don't need a tinfoil hat to see they want to impede certain teams and boost others
May 5, 20179 yr Well all I know is that for many reasons I'd rather be us than Spurs. They have to play away from home are 4 points behind us and their home fixture is against unbeaten manu It's not a gimme but we should still be 4 points in front with 3 to play after borough. We can beat them if we turn up. And we will turn up.
May 5, 20179 yr Re the FA I think the Man Utd situation with the backlog of their matches may have had an impact too. Yes I agree the FA might have some sneaky tricks to make it more exciting for the neutrals yet also unplanned events like Utd's backlog complicate the fixture list.
May 5, 20179 yr Utd will roll over for Spurs because Jose will play a rotated side. I'm not holding out much hope for the Pikeys doing us a favour tonight but the old fella is 'Ammers fan so I'll be cheering them on through grited teeth for one night only. If Spurs drop points tonight and I dont think they will, all the pressure will be off for our games agaoinst 'Boro and WBA.

May 5, 20179 yr Depends on how Swansea and Hull go, we will either play a desperate team playing for survival, or a team resigning to their inevitable relegation. Either way, Conte and his team knows exactly what to do and how to get a win. They got a solid defence, but clueless in attack, so in theory it should be easy. However, we have lost to teams battling relegation this time of the season over the last few years, I remember Sunderland ended our unlikely title challenge few years ago, and they did us again last year, so it could be a tricky game despite my confidence. I think Conte will play the same team, although I believe it should be an easy pick to start Cesc over Matic.

Yeah cause I think if that happens Boro's heads go down and they probably won't try. Although if they have something to play for it does mean they're likely to come out and we could punish them on the break.
May 5, 20179 yr Kante and Luiz are doubts. Just bring in Cesc and AKe if thats the case, the other 8 pick themselves, only other question mark is Willian or Pedro and I'd go Pedro as hes better in small spaces as I can see 'Boro sitting in. Their defence is the 10th best in the leageu but theyve the joint worst attack in the league with Sunderland.

Yea either that or they want to put on a World Cup performance against the league leaders to try and keep some face, history teaches us teams won't roll over for us, that's fine we will roll them over

May 5, 20179 yr Hmm the cesc and matic combo is a worry if that happens. Been a while since it was just the two of them.
