I had no idea until last night that we are only playing one game in Australia? 

Seems madness to me to fly 24 hours around the world for 5 days and 1 pre-season friendly. Then fly back for 24 hours. Hardly great for the players what with the jet lag etc. 

I know in the modern day these tours must be done for reasons other than football, but I do question who thought that this made good sense on the back of a world cup summer.

Logically it doesn't make sense.

Suspect this match is more about football relationships behind the scenes at board level.

From what I have seen it looks like none of our WC players are going which is good.

It's all about putting yourself around and marketing, it'll do the lads well as a lot of time spent in Aus will be chillaxing then should theoretically have an easy game where we bag a load. 

Roman will know what he's doing more than a few "fans" on this forum, please do not question him.

****cough its a direct flight to Perth from London these days 17 hours but not that bad for jet lag to be honest .......

Would be nice if we had some extended clips of the players training like other clubs do. I want to see what Sarri is doing with them at this stage. 

Bayern have full training videos on their youtube channel? Holy cow. Any Aussies in here that can record our open training session?

A couple were on loan last season, Thompson in the conference, Collins at Forest Green. I’ve seen a lot of Bulka, very talented but he might leave unfortunately.

Just to add, hope he signs a new contract, one of a few players with 12 months left. Cumming is probably the most talented keeper I’ve seen in our academy though.

I have an Aussie mate down there that 20 years ago went me and friends up and down the country following the blues, after he went home he started going to a local called Stamfords in Perth to watch the matches with other CFC fans there.

Looking forward to seeing how it will all work tomorrow night. Hope we see Barkley get involved and Morata do well so he can make a case not to waste 50m on Higuain.

Anyone know of the match is on tv in the uk (other than chelseatv)? It kicks off about midday I think.
