Literally only a couple of moments so let's calm down, we still have plenty of players needing match sharpness. Can we stop downplaying the result as well, we were comfortable because we played well enough to make it that way. Watford was easily a potential banana skin with our inconsistency against teams lower in the table. When teams play the low block we need the movement and creativity of goals 1 & 3 last night, rather than passing around the box and back to our half, this showed we easily have the capability. I want teams to fear playing us again, once you have that it gives you a massive edge in games. Pulisic is a machine, that boy still had pace to burn at the end of the game, fantastic player. July 5, 20206 yr We played well from start to finish. For much of the season Frank has highlighted the need for a quicker tempo. Everyone was on message. Free kicks taken quickly, lots of good movement off the ball. We could have won this 5.0. Palace game will be tougher but we are good enough to win that game too. Last night we showed more intensively than we did against West Ham, feeling pleased.
July 5, 20206 yr Mount explaining how he had to put more fizz on the ball leading up to the first goal is precisely why he is important in the team. We need quick decisive passing to break down teams looking to set up the low block, long may it continue.

Yeah I was cringing when he flying through the box a couple times at like 88 minutes though. He got the snot beat out of him yesterday. He’s gonna get a little better at finishing and be e nightmare player for teams. He’s already got backers peeing down their legs when he runs at them. Dude creates opportunities. Giroud was nifty tonight, but Werner is going to love playing with 22. Edited July 5, 20206 yr by DumbYank
July 5, 20206 yr A peaceful victory in a soporific game. Pulisic and Willian always mark the differences. Always them. Giroud, another clear level, in relation to Tammy. Watford was a relatively easy prey, after the second goal they started thinking about the next games, they never scared too much. Kante, Pulisic and Willian cannot play everything, Kante left with muscular complaints. I hope it's nothing serious. What I liked least was Mount. At this level he is closer to Championship than to Champions League. Some humility, boy! Much protest with the referee and little performance. CHO even makes me feel sorry to see him play and it is not for the little that appeared today. At least the 5th place should not escape us, I hope that in the worst case scenario, it will lead us to the Champions League.
July 5, 20206 yr Much better outing this but still left with an “unconvinced” feeling defensively after this game. With total domination we still somehow managed to give away two huge chances to a listless Watford which was not even attacking. Better teams will punish it. Gilmour before the break and Gilmour after the break are two different Gilmours. Let’s hope the first one turns up soon as he currently adds even more pressure on a wobbly defence even with 15 minutes on the pitch rather than shielding it. Don’t want to jinx it but Pulisic is an absolute gem we have. Edited July 5, 20206 yr by rocker_joker typos

Get the feeling you might stay for a while so would be good to hear your Chelsea story.

Five points ahead of Wolves with five games to go, handy margin. Kept within a point of Leicester. Utd will be hard to finish above of given their form and fixture list. Hopefully Kante isn’t injured. Gilmour has had a bit of a reality check in two appearances now and frank clearly doesn’t like Jorginho all of a sudden I guess in hindsight we should have beaten WH on paper and probably lost to City, so I guess we are no further ahead or behind where we expected to be.
