Rennes v Chelsea (CL) Tue 24th Nov 2020 17:55 GMT

Featured Replies

First 30 minutes we played very good, but when we started to make mistakes in the back then we brought Rennes to the game. 5 more minutes in the first half and they could score.

The whistle for the half came just in time.

Werner and Abraham are not in the game, we're missing Kante in the center of the pitch with all his defensive abilities.

Mount has to be involved in every attacking buildup, Hudson Odoi has to be used more as well. Every time we had the ball on our right side we created a chance, Werner more useful when he heads inside in movement and gets the ball.

Very shaky score, we need 2 goals at least here. Must win game for us. COME ON CHELS!!!

He could have passed to him while he was going forward to breakthrough with the ball, Chilwell lost the ball more than once in that situation actually and his through balls aren't working that well either as Werner can't get involved much.

he had his back towards silva and eyes on the ball and the situation .. no way he could have seen Silva move up...

but on the other few occasions  Chilwell has been poor.. infactboth Werner and Chilwell are having a stinker..

Good solid first half despite a couple of scary moments and Rennes coming back in the game towards the  end of the half...should be 2 up, but taking 3 points is all that matters.

Both Werner and Mount had an easy chance to score, could have been 0:3 honestly. Chilwell's poor passing and that left side where the crosses come from is our biggest issue. Chilwell is probably a bit tired, probably Werner too.

Not to be negative or anything, but Chilwell is getting cooked by that Rennes winger on top of the few mistakes he made. He looks gassed and I think the gaffer might wanna change things up a bit or we will concede sooner or later.

I think both are probably tired. I would like Chilwell to rest and to be ready for Spurs even if Rennes keeps pushing on his side and Emerson fails.

That's the second whip round you've suggested for me, you are definitely growing on me.

He probably just wants the whip.

I’ve been liked to a cancerous tumour before...

Werner and Chilwell are getting bullied in our half on that left wing, I would consider rotating CHO there and putting Ziyech in.

You been talking to the missus? How did you know about my fondness for whips?

I suspected @Munkworth does, and now it's clear you are made for each other!

Can the two of you whip our players into shape while you're at it? This is not going well.
