Absolutely gutting. After over half an hour or so of total chaos we finally looked like we'd stabilised the game, and then that.

Exactly the sort of thing to take the wind out of your sails. Thank God I bought a bottle of Glenlivet earlier.

Take your pick.

Opted for Lukaku. It was either him or Chalobah for me. None of the other outfield players had good games. Mendy can't really be faulted as hsd little to do bar let in a goal he could do nothing about.

Lukaku will get credit for the goal, but I thought he was as wasteful as anybody. I would go with Azpi or Mendy.

Bizarre how different we see games. For me Lukaku barely wasted what limited possession he got. Unfortunately the players around him made little out of it.

There was one moment in the first half where we had both Hudson-Odoi and Mount free on goal. All he had to do was control the ball, turn and play the pass, but he messed it up. There were many times in the 2nd half where he couldn't sort his feet out and one of the chances he decided to cut inside in the box instead of getting the shot away. Out of all of our attackers, he was the best, but I don't think he had a better game than Azpilicueta or Mendy.

Lukaku wa good and Mount got better as game went on but Kante was our best player and instantly stopped Brighton dominating the game.

Shame our defenders got it wrong at the end so we missed out on the all important 3 points.

Went for Mount. More for his effort and work rate than anything else.

Brighton had the best player on the pitch in Bissouma. There might be an option to vote for him next season.

Lukaku, Kante Chalobah and Mount all did their best to varying degrees of success.

Rudiger was reckless but at least showed desire, I'll give him that.

Everybody else looked knackered or just plain sh*te.

Lukaku for me, never going to be like Drogba but did a reasonably close impersonation of him yesterday, i.e. did his bit in defense and held the line very well at times, used his strength to good effect and a nice header into the mix.

Yeah he is lucky boy Lamptey was not a step further ahead, so is lamptey mind as he would have got hurt and Toni would have been off.

Imo dangerous tackle and lucky not to be sent off.
