March 14, 20224 yr Honestly it really pissed me off watching other fans tarr us all with one brush, Russia FC, Racists, we deserved this punishment because we enjoyed success under Roman, Tuchel was praised for how he’s handling the situation, Alan shearer makes a direct comparison to war ‘well it’s not as difficult as the situation the victims in Ukraine are in’, people are still moaning about Havertz red card, I’ve not heard a peep after Mane elbow, Keita studs up tackle, Jamie Carragher suggesting Tuchel should go to Man Utd, Reece James to leave for city or Madrid, I’m sick of it. You all can f*ck right off, we are Chelsea and we’re not going anywhere.

Lukaku scores a winner from onside position in cup final, VAR draw the lines to make it seem he is offside, barley mentioned it. Keita kicks Chalo in the nuts, barley mention it. Havertz elbow up, should be sent off. Stonewall pen for a shirt pull yet same commentators applauded mount not getting a free kick when his shirt was pulled on halfway. Same sort of people saying TT is the only good thing about CFC. Ignoring the hard working regular people who make match days happen, who may not be able to pay their bills, mortgages and may lose their jobs because of their campaign of hate. I think the events of the last few weeks surely mean that we have to be honest about matters and if we continue to play victims in all this we are going to beat ourselves up over and over and over. In relation to the big two incidents 1) The Elbow could easily have resulted in a red card, just like the Mane one . We got lucky just as did Liverpool 2) I personally thought it was a penalty. 3) I can’t remember who he kicked but one of their players committed a terrible foul with studs high up.That should have been a booking. All we can ever ask for is consistency referees as human and make mistakes . VAR isn’t meant to re referee a game it’s meant to pick up obvious errors the problem is that so many decisions in football are based on the referee opinion that apply subjective eyes as opposed to biased eyes and therein is the dilemma when it comes to how a supporter or come to that how a pundit sees an incident because that’s how it works.
March 14, 20224 yr Looked a penalty to me. Not exactly nailed on, I’ve seen far more blatant fouls not given. So we can write that one off as some you win, some you don’t. But the Kai Havertz elbow was never a sending off. He didn’t “smash his elbow into Burn’s face”, he wasn’t even looking at him, no way was it deliberate. It was an honest attempt by both players to go for the ball, and could very easily have resulted in Havertz being accidentally struck by Burn. As for the goal, it was truly a thing of beauty, one (as the saying goes), that will live in the memory a long time. Oh and generally, the Geordies put in a thuggish, spoiler of a performance, not unexpectedly given where they are in the table, and that they’re basically sh*te, but not easy to play against, even more so with the amount of times their players threw themselves to the ground at every given opportunity.
March 14, 20224 yr Reading the reports in Dad's Mail and it was Clattenburg's reaction that was interesting. Kai's challenge on Burn agreed was just a yellow as he did not look at Burn before the challenge. Chalobah on Murphy not a penalty as Murphy was playing for a penalty and trying to wait for the outstretched defenders leg.

Weirdly, I watched the game in a bar on holiday in Cape Verde (very nice but very windy so far). I chatted throughout the game with a couple of Geordies. When I noticed his missing finger I asked them about it, and one of them said he was at school with Dan Burn in Blyth. He said he lost the finger at school but didn't know the details, sadly. I wonder if he and his mates were playing a game of dare with the power saw in woodwork
March 14, 20224 yr Havertz's elbow was an orange card, but it was a definite penalty on Murphy. There's holding, in the box, on the player in control of the ball, to affect his progress. Looking for the penalty is immaterial, and by the laws of the game it should have been a penalty. If we get (and score) that penalty at 0-0 and who knows how the game could have ended. That aside, we turned up at Stamford Bridge without a stack of our better players, spoiled the game to reduce the impact your stars could have and almost came away with a point. Nice to come away feeling disappointed to be narrowly beaten, rather than accepting a f**king hammering as was the norm. Burn apparently lost his finger when a ring he was wearing got caught on a fence and ripped it off.

Didn’t hear the away fans once in the first half. There were a few lulls in to silence in the second half but this was mainly inspired by the sh*te being served up on the pitch. With the referee performance on top of everything else it felt like the stadium was going to burst when Kai finally scored. Maybe Sky had toned down the home support through fears of us chanting for Roman? All I could hear through the box, DaZn coverage, was Newcastle fans for basically the whole game bar the response to the Mike Ashely song and one "Chelsea" chant, outside of Havertz goal then I could hear the home fans loud and clear.

So we should be glad that clown of a referee didn't give either of them. Lets be real. If it was other way around we'd be crying for justice.
March 15, 20224 yr Yes I think they could have gone either way. For me Havertz should not try and win that header, he has to run into it to get the elevation against a taller player so was never favourite if he does this under another ref it may well be red at another venue. Chalobah is a young defender so think we all acknowledge there could be an error in his game this is for TT and coaching to work on otherwise might be a penalty on another occasion.
