Women's Euros 2022

A great game. Congratulations to the Lionesses.  Millie Bright is a great defender. A good old fashioned no nonsense player. Great strike from Georgia Stanway.

An entertaining game.

Spain for large periods were the better team and scored a decent goal.

Felt England should have had a penalty given for a foul on Hemp.

The manager made some good subs, the press say we went three at the back yet all the subs were tall and leggy which meant they could run down the Spanish defenders pressure them better. Also that Spanish player on the right didn't get the ball any more.

The other physical part was Russo getting the knock down for Trooney, a great move with Hemp's cross yet Russo probably fouled Paredes yet not given and the goals stood.

The second from Stanway looked like a Lampard special.

I’m not use to feeling pride in relation to the England national team. It’s odd.

I know right. I don't give a stuff about the men's side and their anti-chelsea bias but the women's side really pull together and the nation is actually behind all the players. Hopefully the win the final, would be quite an achievement.

Also super Fran Kirby, always doing CFC proud!
