Brighton and City within touching distance with Leicester and Villa to play tonight.

Seems inevitable at this point we finish 7th or lower. Liverpool - Newcastle - Utd - Forest our last 4 games.

How are Forest so much better than us right now?

I guess the obvious answer is because they have a coach who isn't f**king useless.

I watched Elanga's goal last night at the thought of what Maresca would have had our players doing in a similar situation.

Need a Brighton and Vila draw, Bournemouth to somehow slip up against Ipswich (no chance) and Brentford to beat Newcastle.

Everton really lucky not to be down to 10. Usually the Sky Pundits go completely over the top when a decision goes against liverpool but it was full body weight behind those studs there...

I know has been brought up already regarding the CL but it would be quite funny if we ended up 6th, Strasbourg 5th and we ended up being punted back in to the conference league as they finished higher than we did in our respective tables

Really feels like City, Newcastle and Villa are pushing for that top 5 finish now.

If we’re going to get CL, we are definitely going to need to perform a lot better. We won’t get it by scraping through games. It’s too tight.

Our owners come in and act like they have it all figured out, but they have so much to learn. Villa could end the season with an FA Cup win and a Champions League spot, and it's all on how they reacted in January.

Unfortunately I think the CL spots will be as they are. We’ll probably drop below Villa to 7th/8th. I’ve got little faith.

They had Ollie Watkins fit (who is head and shoulders better than anything we have up top), and still added two additional attackers.

A real statement that they intended to finish the season strong, and their current momentum suggests that is looking like a pair of good decisions right now, especially as both of them are significantly impacting games, but a long way still to go.

I think Newcastle will grab 5th. No Europe, so only one thing to focus on, Villa have the FA Cup and Champions League, so could slip up in between those games, and I don't trust us seeing as we have looked awful for months now.
