Great, scored an overhead goal when the game was lost. Where was he in the previous 90. sorry, not good enough. bang average season no better than Jackson.

Good enough for Carlo and the Brazil national team, not good enough in the opinion of some bloke on a message board. okay. Got it.

No better than Jackson. Seriously? Jackson of the many overhead goals. JowPedro is a footballer and Jackson by comparison is a big fast athlete, who is dubious at reading the game (of football).

Neither of your conclusions, it's called opinion dude. Ive watched them play... I see bang average players in both. Sorry. go into next season with pedro leading the line we'll struggle again. Stats back it up. Hasnt scored against any side above us except Villa. Fair to say we are above the teams he scores against. Mid-table. Sorry if this isnt something you like to hear.. honest question, Where does Pedro fit in the top ten strikers weve had in the past twenty years.

  1. Drogba

  2. Costa

  3. JFH

  4. Anelka

  5. Gudjohnson

  6. Flo

  7. Giroud

  8. Crespo

  9. eto'o

  10. x3 names that I'd have in front of Pedro.

Ahh yes, J.Pedro that doesn't score enough. But give me Flo, Giroud, Eto'o, Gudjonson who never scored as many as he has...

My point if you bothered to read it was both are not good enough. Go to specsavers!

J.Pedro's link up play is fantastic so i know you're just rage baiting at this point.

Not sorry for your low IQ.

Best swallow some pain killers for your butt hurt... here are some stats:

Cole Palmer (playing the wing mostly) in the 24/25 season scored the same as Pedro (15 league) this season and had 8 assists. That's a winger with better statistics that Pedro this season. Palmer has played 9 games less, been injured and has still managed 9 goals this term.

Im not even going to go into Neto and Garnacho's contributions this term because their hilariously below average.

We could well finish the season 20 points off our tally of 24/25.

24/25 season we finished with. GD of +21. this season we may be - numbers... Currently sitting on +6

Lost 13 games and season not over, 9 the entire term last season.

Weve lost 7 more games than last this term, not even finished.

Weve scored 10 goals less with 3 to play.

You talk about link up play but Pedro isnt as good as palmer was last year, weve also scored less goals, conceeded more, every data metric is in the red.

so, glad you think Pedro is the answer to our problems, like I say, we're in big trouble next season with this kid leading the line unless Palmer can find some form under a decent manager.

I'll leave you all pat yourselves on the back over a mid table striker who isnt much better than Jackson. I want both gone.

Yay, stats......

Feel free to dispute them and form an opinion for yourself. Would appear you cant be bothered so probably best to sit this one out.

With Pedro leading our line we are worse off as a team. prove this worng.

So your issue with the team being astronomically worse is to blame the only player that is actually performing in a worse team? This has to be rage bait, you can't be this stupid. Can you?

perhaps the little pea sized thing in your skull controlling your myopic eyesight and angry typing fingers cant see the bigger picture in that the team has performed worse with Pedro up front... The wingers for example... all of them have performed worse this season... and we had Madueke last year who might be a double winner this season and was roundly called useless on here but probably streghnthed our direct top four rivals. ho hum.

I dont agree with Pedro being a top footballer, tbh, he is at his level, a mid table premier league club. That's what we are now. also rans.

I guess my POTY suggestion is wide of the mark.🙂

Id give it Reece James because he's chelsea through and through and still cares... signing an extended deal with the club is the best thing to happen to us this season. ;-)

Yeah, you are incredibly low IQ.

Its okay to have a vendetta against a player, i have plenty. Just make sure you pick a sh*t player like Lomba, not our POTS.

All I am going to say here with the comparison to Jackson is that Jackson had one season in the Poch system and half of a Maresca’s first season where they were still playing Poch style. That system gave numerous chances to Jackson who, if I’m not mistaken, f***** up 90%. Stick JP in that side, which also included an in form Palmer, JP would have double the amount of goals Jackson scored. He would have also scored those chances that Jackson missed in the semi final against City in the Poch year.

JP has been the one shining light this season and he scores all types of goals. He is a far superior footballer to Jackson and if anyone thinks Jackson is on par with JP, go and apply for a SD role at the Bridge, you’re as clueless as them….

I dont have a vendetta, you insist I have one. Again, feel free to address the points I have made. you really need to develop a thicker skin sunshine. My point that you and others keep glossing over is that neither are good enough to lead our line.

As your special, with an attention span under 5 seconds. neither are good enough to lead our line.

And in case you got distracted by a busty TikTok influencer for your next opinion. neither are good enough to lead our line.

For anyone else that cant grasp the very basic point: neither are good enough to lead our line.

Ladies and gents, ask yourselves this, has Pedros goals been enough to save us from relegation form since January? Its a two letter word beggining with N and ending in O.

What points have you made other than your own personal opinion?

You realise football is a team sport? 11 people on the pitch. This may come as a surprise to you, but J.Pedro can't prevent us from conceding or make our midfielders be creative. He's there to score goals and link up play, which he's doing better than anyone we've had since Costa.

I recommend watching the games instead of just reading the stats. Perhaps visit the bridge one day?

In an ideal world to improve our squad we would bring in a world class no9 to either play with Pedro or push him out the team that’s how you improve, not just look for cover for him.

He is a streaky player atm but we have been so crap this year in a better team with more competition I think he can get even better. I think he has all the tools to be a top striker and considering some of our signings lately I consider JP a success and miles better than Jackson.

Whether you think he’s good enough to be the main man to make us elite again is another question but I think he can certainly be part of the equation going forward and is atm first name on the attacking team sheet above CP and Estevau. The rest of the attackers can all do one for me.

Yep. You just have to look at his two goals vs Napoli, when has Jackson ever scored goals like those two? We would have lost that game if Jackson started.

Agreed. He’s easily good enough to lead our line. The quality of his goals are excellent. The one against Newcastle away was very Drogba like.

With Jow Pedro i think he has the ability to be a no.9 and lead the line. He initially scored some lovely goals from outside the box, but he later went on to prove that he does have a poachers instinct inside the box and he also proved that he can head the ball and get on the end of crosses. He can also score a fancy overhead kick. He is quite versatile. He is a no.9, who can also play deeper as a no.10. His link up play with Cole Palmer has been good - they are both instinctive and intuitive footballers. He is not robust - that is, some folks want/prefer a BIGGER centre forward - but like JFH i think JP is strong enough to be a No.9. He needs competition for the No.9 spot - Some preferred Crespo to Drogba - it is nice to have real choices (Delap and Marc Gooey>? - come on). On this ridiculous season it is hard to judge our players - but JP has been our best player and has played like a footballer who wants to win - despite some of the sh1tty football around him and the lack of delivery from our wings.

That about sums it up for me.
