So Gusto gets a game in midfield AGAIN, still sucking Maresca off i see, got lucky against Liverpool so he thinks it will happen again, meaning Estevao and Guiu get benched to accommodate Pedro as a striker…which he isnt, everyone apart from Maresca knows this

Fofana hasnt made the matchday squad yet i thought he was fit, injured again or not deemed good enough for the bench?

Santos and Lavia starting and that might be a good thing.

Maresca probably thinks Caicedo needs to rest.

Gusto seemed to be a tactical change last time out will it work this time who knows.

Like @Sconnie Blue said it does feel like we are getting some rough fixtures times with being away and the early start just after the internationals.

The guy is just an arsehole.

I sincerely hope Juve or whichever other Italian club are stupid enough to want him come and rescue us from him soon !

They will bully us off the park!! Every position on the pitch they are better than us physically. Maybe barring James.

Come on lad, the match did not even start yet...

For all their physicality, most of that Forest team have either been away on intl duty or some of them come back from injuries and did not play in a while...

Yeah I'm usually all in for slagging off Maresca's team selection but what's he meant to do? Enzo injured and Caicedo is half fit, Gusto did alright in the midfield against Liverpool so we'll see how it goes.

In my parallel universe Caicedo doesnt get off the bench, Lavia and Santos run the show, Neto and Garnacho cause havoc. We go in 2-0 up at half time. Second half more of the same but with Gittens and Estevao inflicting more pain on Forest 3-0 FT. 😎

Grim line up that

The injuries we constantly have is a disgrace, been like this for a few seasons now and it never gets better. Something stinks in the background because it’s clearly not just bad luck

The line up doesn't enthuse me, and based on past experiences we always seem to comeback flat from the international break.

Hoping for the best.

My worry is that whether it’s through injuries or Maresca or a bit of both, we just do not get any stability or consistency in our side. Most players in the eleven today are fine, but the combination seems so alien. Training is one thing, but in a competitive 90 minutes I fear they won’t instantly gel and read each other.

I reckon it will be James in midfield, Gusto at RB and Santos at 10, But it should have been James at RB, Santos and Lavia in midfield and Estevao at 10

He was lucky against Liverpool but he is wasting Estevao ,with the system we play, there is no reason Estevao shouldn’t play 10 do you believe if Palmer was fit he would be sitting on the bench to accommodate Gusto?
