Local derby to start the season. Early to mid December looks brutal.

Looking forward to it especially with a proper manager in charge now.

Interesting. Monday night away fixture - been a while since we had that but think it was away. Recall 2020 away to Brighton where we won 3-1, need to channel that energy. Was fully expecting Liverpool away on day one!

Read on Sky sports that Arsenal have a good Christmas schedule - their nine games from Nov 28 to Jan 6 are all against London sides, lessening travel. Would be nice.

Oh if only those fixtures stayed as they are, with all those 3pm Saturday games.

When do the TV get there to digs at the fixtures. ? And also all the European games for half the fecking teams in the league will change everything too

I see we've got the dreaded international breaks , starting with 2 weeks in November. .

Can't see any other breaks? Aren't England co hosts in the upcoming Euros, so qualify automatically?

Our last Monday night away fixture was against Ipswich Town in December 2024 during the Christmas and New Year period.

Before that, it was against Palace under Poch in February 2024 when Gallagher and Fernandez scored stoppage time winners.

Apologies - I wasn’t clear but was referring to Monday night on first game of season. Looking back I now also recall the away game to Burnley with that great team goal, Fabregas pass and Schurle goal. We also had Burnley home on a Monday under Conte if I recall!

You are right in your comments though. Funny Ipswich is also the last game of 2026 for us, just like 2024.

We've got an early League Cup fixture too , due to our absence of European competition

Monday 24 August – Chelsea travel to Fulham for our first Premier League fixture of 2026/27.

Wednesday 26 August - Our involvement in the Carabao Cup begins at the second round stage between our opening two fixtures of the season.

Saturday 29 August – Our first home clash of the season sees Brighton and Hove Albion visit Stamford Bridge. ..

If I'm not mistaken, 8 of our first 9 fixtures are all in London!!
