As you may have read in G4's scandalous attack thread we have a new match day build up feature courtesy of Chippy's generosity.

Basically in the build up to every game a correct score poll will be created featuring every score from 0-0 up to 5-5 BUT NOT INCLUDING a Chelsea defeat. 'Chelsea Lose' will be a poll option though.

Chippy will put a shiny sovereign (AKA £1) on whatever result has polled the highest two hours before the game kicks off (including £1 on a Chelsea defeat if that is what people vote for) and any winnings will go into the Shed End Piggy bank.

So first off we have the City game this Saturday. Pick what you think the final score will be.

I did'nt really mean for this to come over as a donation thread,

More for us all to have a chance to give something back for the hours we get to waste talking Chelsea and the hours others waste making it interesting for us.

this way we are all clubbing together to help using our knowledge without actually shell out (I dont call a quid a game much of a shell out)

I just hope everyone gets involved, maybe we should post on here what we've gone for for a laugh and some bragging rights.

Here's mine a bit early as I usually wait for the team but I'm going for 1-0 Chelsea, toss up between this and 2-1 but going for the 1-0.

I think City will be well up for this after the 6-0 and keep it tight.

Getting into the spirit of things, I 've gone 3-1. After they score first, our nothing-to-lose attacking policy ends in a hat-trick for Anelka.... and well done Chippy!

Just put your idea of the score in it's only a pound between us all so it means I'm sponsering you lot for about 3p each per game icon_lol.gif

2-1 if Carlo plays.

reason being, if, with Cech in goal we score and then shut up shop, with Carlo in goal we are more likely to concede so would need to score 2.

I just had a phone call from Bonetti and he is going to match your stake of £1 per game till the end of the season Chippy.

If you could put £2 on the City score instead of £1 and Bonetti will get the cash to you for the rest of the season shortly.

Goes without saying but I can assure you his word is good and he will cough up.
