I think Essien, A Cole, and Lampard all played really well. But Drogba just pips them. All over the pitch, no complaining, and think Rafa's comments made him play better. if only he'd do that all the time

lamps for me, simply because of the size of the blokes balls and heart. absolutely incredible. to step up for that pen after the last week hes had took incredible courage. had a tear in my eye when it went in.

I ended up voting Drogba but I think Makelele deserves a very honorable mention (which he hasn't seem to have gotten yet) for his job on Gerrard who went missing for most of the night.

Not the right thread but happened to be the one I was in!

Great that JT didn't pick up a booking and so will feature in the final. he, for me, is the face of the current Chelsea team and the thought of him missing out on such a massive game was terrible.
