Too disappointed to post this loz?!

My choice for today was between Essien and Malouda. Had to go for Essien based on the fact that he was playing both centre half and central midfield at one point.

Malouda for me.

At times he looked the only one who was bovered

How should I know?

I logged on to this site just before 3pm. Launched Sopcast: no peers to connect, tried TVU (I think) - nothing, tried PPMate and got a big blue hardware failure screen. So I spent the first half trying to get the system up and running, finally gave up and tried a fresh install but got nowhere with that either. I've tried everything I can think of and finally managed, after all sorts of f**king around, to get a copy of Win 98 First edition installed. Every time I try XP or even 2k, the machine hangs. At one time there seemed to be 3 corrupt partitions and nothing else.

I won't be watching MOTD either.

Just for sentiment, Sheva.

Good to see him score in what will probably be his last ever appearance.

Malouda and Ashley were good. Drogba started well then fell asleep

essien for me...people shouldn't be too harsh on the team...it was one of those typical frustrating days that you see when one team has no other intention than to defend. we did let it slip when it became clear that utd were 2-0 up but you can understand why they went flat...so did the crowd!

Sheva for me. He was class the moment he entered the game. It wasn't just the goal. He was creating chances for the team with great passes and possession.

Drogs was not focused. He had several great chances to produce and didn't.

I wasn't happy with Malouda's crosses/passes. Nice shot on goal though.

Nice effort by Essien today. He'd be my second choice.

Soild performance by Essien, i thought he was the MOTM

Essien for me, even out of position he is still a constant threat.

Sheva was pretty good, lost his pace but still knows where to stand in the box. Pity we havent played him since the start of the year, could have snatched us a few more points.

Belletti for me. He operated very well down the flank and made some superb runs forward.

belletti is outstanding going forward, ok he has a few defensive frailties but we should play him regular to help him over come thse we dont need another right back

Now that I don't agree to. We do need another right-back who can defend properly and go forward as well and not only one of them.

He seems to be the right man for the role as he defends pretty well and is as good going forward (from what I have heard and saw).

The Ess Express for me. True to form, he really can play anywhere. With the lack of goals perhaps we should try him up front.

Essien for me too. Ran around like mad as always. A mention for Sheva for doing well, great reaction to score the goal.

Nobody really stood out for me yesterday, Joe Cole has really lost his form as of late. Maybe give it to Essien for playing 2 different positions that arent his own, and doing it pretty well

Sheva getting 12 votes is a puzzler for me. OK he shinned in the goal but other than that?

I jut think that was because we had two up front instead of one rather than because Sheva had a half decent game. Not knocking him, just surprised as there have been times when he has played a lot better and not got the credit he deserved yet yesterday I didn't think he did all that much and he ends up with a stack of votes.

I agree- though anelka can be static at times.
