ahhh, bluenut.. ;) . kinnear was bang on to be fair, unfortunatley this just means there will now be a witchunt from the media. anyone upsets them in any way (other than fergie) and they hunt in packs.

To be honest.. I kind of agree with Kinear but I wish it was someone with a bit more intellegnce or influnce who had done it to the press...

I supose Jose, and Fergie just refused to speak to them from time to time.

Hasn't Fergie talked to some of the press like this before and banned them because they wrote something he didn't like? IIRC he got the wrong guy, as it was his brother who wrote the article!

now that would definately have been worth seeing, just to see the likes of custis and collins`s face as kinnear went marauding round the room. brilliant. just heard tony cottee ( i think it was him) on sky sports news saying kinnear was wrong and he should be trying to get on the medias good side. why exactly? hes there to manage newcastle, not suck up to pricks like patrick collins and shaun custis. their egos are out of control, they actually think they have an impact on football and have an important part to play.

Reading that article made me cringe. Yes the man has a point and yes the press deserve a tongue lashing.

But not like that. it's embarrassing. The only thing that comes across from that piece is.

A. He's an angry man

B. He has a mouth like a sewer.

My respect level for Joe Kinnear just shot through the stratosphere. Im sure the Geordies will love that kind of juice and passion being injected into the club. Guy sounds like a genius already, building that kind of siege mentality!
