Season long loan to Fortuna Mustangs. Teach the rodent some humility.

Enzo won’t have helped us yesterday even in a deeper role. What we needed was some steel, and a player who could help us carry the ball upfield which he isn’t.

Absolutely laughable that these are the guys we're looking at to replace Enzo. Yesterday showed how badly we need a midfielder and getting a cheaper option like Kone or Camara is a big step backwards for the squad.

That is the correct law, but it was incorrectly applied in this case. That's the law for accidental handball. But they failed to give any attention to Maguire's handball, which came about after he moved his hands towards the ball. They were not in what refs normally consider in a natural position by his side, so the ref and VAR should not have ruled it to be accidental. Still, it was Old Trafford aka Howard Webb's home ground, where dodgy refereeing interpretations are routine.

BlueCo buy Chelsea FC
I don’t think they need to worry too much about sell on value of the older players. Hendo,Wellbeck and Martinez cost less than we lost on Kellyman. In a few years time some of our current squad will be the experienced players through natural evolution of the team and their careers. As long as there’s a blend we will be ok.

Can't make any logical sense for their recruitment policy given the amount of money they are willing to spend can only come to the conclusion that Winstanley left his laptop in the back of a cab after getting out at Worcester avenue- Enzo Fernandez - not wanted in England, the Falklands or probably Argentina now
They must have assured him they would bid(if a deal hasn’t already been agreed) which is why he’s being left out. Maybe I’m just hoping this is the case and city ain’t just playing games. At this stage there must be enough funds to do the Camara deal anyway and if city don’t bid or don’t bid enough tell them bo**ocks.- Enzo Fernandez - not wanted in England, the Falklands or probably Argentina now
I feel like this transfer window goes from a 9 to a 6/10 if we don't bring in a suitable CM.- Following Our Nearest And Dearest Rivals 2026/27
Reports that Tottenham are looking at Cristian Pulisic from Milan. I checked the more reliable Italian outlets, the only mention is re-reporting the English reports. Anyway, he wasn't up to the physicality last time and time hasn't strengthened him any.- Enzo Fernandez - not wanted in England, the Falklands or probably Argentina now
Unless we are determined to get a replacement lined up prior to any announcement, it is looking increasingly likely that he stays.- Enzo Fernandez - not wanted in England, the Falklands or probably Argentina now
I think "England" covers it quite nicely LOL- Enzo Fernandez - not wanted in England, the Falklands or probably Argentina now
Someone please add Man City to the list in the thread title. Looks like they don't want him either- Random Rumours
He's also another 5'7, I'm not saying it can't work but it'll create an obvious weakness to our midfield- Random Rumours
Really not opposed to this at all. MGW is a fantastic player and would compliment the front 3 perfectly. Personally, prefer him to Scott. Obviously Adam Wharton is the dream transfer but with Palace’s start and their ownerships unwillingness to lose too many key pieces ever year that deal is as good as impossible.- Random Rumours
MG-W is the last player we need. He's ring-fenced at Forest anyway. Midfield the priority. Brighton played straight through, as did Fulham. That, and the backline has no defensive protection.- Lofty's Wall of Sound - What are you listening to?
It's from 1987, guests (Springsteen, etc) aside, the band was Elvis' last backing band.- Xabi Alonso - New Chelsea Manager
We really need 2 midfield signings, CMs that can press, tackle and win 2nd balls to recycle our waves of attack.- Random Rumours
To play where though, if Alonso insists on a 3-4-3. Forest will be rightly asking for £80m min, and he is already on £150k/w at Forest. It Ndiaye who seems to be holding out for us. That move also seems silly; as you think the priority would be to give Quenda & Estevao mins, and not pay £60m for Ndiaye to sit on the bench.- Enzo Fernandez - not wanted in England, the Falklands or probably Argentina now
Pettiness wouldn't enter into it. More like bog standard bluff calling, typical transfer strategy, particularly in the window's dying days.- Lofty's Wall of Sound - What are you listening to?
Another crooner from 66 note the supporting singer guitarists not your usual bunch.- Emiliano Martinez
Was impressed with him personally, deffo has a presence about him and constantly talking and organising during set pieces despite only having been here for 5 minutes. Can't recall what the score was at the time but important save low just inside the post. Solid debut even though we let 3 in.
