I don’t think they need to worry too much about sell on value of the older players. Hendo,Wellbeck and Martinez cost less than we lost on Kellyman. Really not opposed to this at all. MGW is a fantastic player and would compliment the front 3 perfectly. Personally, prefer him to Scott. Obviously Adam Wharton is the dream transfer but with Palace’s start and their ownerships unwillingness to lose too many key pieces ever year that deal is as good as impossible.

MG-W is the last player we need. He's ring-fenced at Forest anyway. Midfield the priority. Brighton played straight through, as did Fulham. That, and the backline has no defensive protection.

Was impressed with him personally, deffo has a presence about him and constantly talking and organising during set pieces despite only having been here for 5 minutes. Can't recall what the score was at the time but important save low just inside the post. Solid debut even though we let 3 in.
