BlueCo buy Chelsea FC
Presumably that is without the effect of amortisation. If my maths is roughly accurate we would be amortised to about a 50m spend (250m / 5 years) against 450m instant cash from sales

Georginio Wijnaldum
Come on, folks! They are learning, alright. They figured out you can't do well in the PL with a bunch of teenagers; now, in a year or two, they'll learn that a bunch of 35yo don't have the intensity for the PL either. It's a learning process here—give them time! 😅

Real Sociedad Femino v Chelsea Women. Women's Champions League, Wednesday 2 September 2026 18.00
Oh it's a back 3. Hmmm don't see that much in the women's game.

Enzo Fernandez - Now sold to Man City
If our lads don’t clatter him consistently throughout the game against city I will be disappointed. I can see Fofana absolutely leathering him. He seems the type to do that!!

Georginio Wijnaldum
Why do you think they are discarding Barco? Don't buy this story anyway, it's a story that sounds made up
-
Georginio Wijnaldum
36 in a couple of months. Talk about one extreme to the other. The optimism of the first week is ebbing away.
-
Georginio Wijnaldum
Casadei, Ugwochuko, Santos, Essugo, and now apparently Barco. The list of midfielders that BlueCo signs and immediately discards keeps growing.

Georginio Wijnaldum
They are sh*tting themselves now . A Caicedo injury and we have total collapse .You couldn't make this sh*t up

Georginio Wijnaldum
Looks like they're arranging a Pool veteran reunion at Cobham.

Moises Caicedo to Chelsea! "Official"
I feel like it is one of those types of injuries like Palmer had last season. Something he will have to manage, which would mean he would be playing at 50%. I feel this way because Alonso said it was something they knew about.

When does he join?

Enzo Fernandez - Now sold to Man City
With everything said and done, he better be getting a few kicks from our players when we play against City, especially after his beef with Mount.

Real Sociedad Femino v Chelsea Women. Women's Champions League, Wednesday 2 September 2026 18.00
Interesting lineup.

Lamine Camara
He was never an option till a week ago, and we did make a £55m bid for a £35m player. There is no guarantee he would have been a success here, and if he is a bust he will be very hard to shift.
-
Lamine Camara
He did want to come. A medical was booked, and terms were agreed. CEO's statement basically confirmed he forced him to stay because a "better club", AKA the victims, told them they would come and pay a higher amount next year.

Xabi Alonso - New Chelsea Manager
I know it’s been a few years since he was tearing it up for the dippers and Newcastle but he’s PL proven and would only be coming as cover for the aforementioned realistically. Camara was a risk, looks the part from YT highlights don’t get me wrong, but unproven in the PL. If Wijnaldum ticks us over til January/Next Summer when we can have a proper run at Wharton/Scott then I’m fine with it. If we can stick with Xabi we’re building something here, doesn’t need rushing, especially without Europe this season.

Random Rumours
He is 35yr old playing in a high energy league. His legs were already gone by the time he was playing for Roma 4years ago. Just a waste of a squad spot.

Xabi Alonso - New Chelsea Manager
We're scraping the barrel in free agents right now by contacting Wijnaldum. Alonso also spoke with Camara prior to the deal collapsing. Think it's evident he wanted a CM, and lord knows if him playing Gusto in midfield against Brighton was him telling the board he needs players.

Biggest Rival(s)
Sp*rs. It will always be Sp*rs. Closely followed by Liverpool & Celtic though, rotten clubs from top to bottom. West Ham are pathetic, I’d pity them if they weren’t so delusional (The Newcastle of London, they’re NOT a big club) Arsenal as a club I don’t actually mind, it’s just the latte sipping wet wipes who follow them that perplex me. I used to really hate Utd under Fergie but since he went they don’t fuss me either way. Born too late to really understand the Leeds rivalry in total honesty, they were a Championship/League One side growing up! Cardiff though, c**ts. I actually quite like City…

Xabi Alonso - New Chelsea Manager
Maybe I’m giving the SD’s/Ownership too much leeway but with how they’ve gone after most of the targets Xabi has asked for, the lack of urgency for a CM points to him either being happy with what we have or the right player not being available. Now the first part would be that, yes we’re all aware of the ‘fitness issues’ of Lavia & James, at this point it’s a punchline to a never ending joke, but maybe between Caicedo, James, Lavia & Barco, Alonso believes we can handle and tactically adapt for one game a week. Which if that is the case, I’d trust the opinion of a player who has played for such huge clubs as Sociedad, Madrid & Munich in that exact position. If it’s the second and we didn’t see the value in what was available and what we actually wanted wasn’t available, then fair play. We’ve spent the whole window clearing out ‘market opportunities’ from previous seasons. Quality over Quantity seems to be the approach.
