The season is almost over and I'm sure throughout this summer we will be linked with a number of players. However, there's already been talk of a 37m switch for Ross Barkley of Everton. Probably 'rumours' and this post possible should be under that section...... I've watched him a number of times & he does look pretty impressive for such a young man but I wanted to see the overall opinion from you all??! Is he good enough for us? Good enough for the World Cup? Or would we be spending 30 odd million on a youngster instead of blooding our own?! Loftus-Cheek / Lewis Baker spring to mind!! Of course this is only one of many transfer stories that will hit the papers or twitter throughout the summer, but what are your thoughts???

Not being funny, Nando knows he is outta here in the summer. I know he says on interviews he has X amount years on his contract, but he must realise that he'll be sold. So there's no wonder he is not 'knocking his pipe out!' - same goes for Demba Ba. Both will get new clubs easily enough. Neither seem to have much pride. To be fair, it's difficult to be a Chelsea forward. We play too narrow, our full backs can't cross and our build up can be stupidity slow.... However, if we had someone with a little class then he'd make and TAKE chances outta nothing!!! Roll on the summer when the transfer window opens. I just hope we sign a replacement sooner rather than later!!!

I think this just shows we are miles away from being championship material. Like the teams of Mourinho past... We don't quite have that spine. Sorry but as much as I love him, Branna isn't the type of player Chelsea should start! And great squad player but... We need someone who can cross a f**king ball!!!!

From what I have seen... He is a naturally finisher. But needs to add a lot more to his game to be part of the Chelsea squad. He is still very young & has a lot to learn.....

Sorry if there is already a thread for this topic or even if 'you guys' are bored at answering the same old questions.... But- Am I the only one that gets a little dis-heartened with the lack of youth breaking into our team/squad?? I thought Josh was gonna be something special. (Doubtful now) Bamford is scoring constantly in lower leagues, but you 'just know' he will never make it as Chelsea's number 9. And Ake impressed last year, but hasn't played a minute since. I realise... WE ARE CHELSEA. One of the finest teams in Europe.... We (mostly) have the highest quality players in (again mostly) every position and if the 'kids' aren't good enough they shouldn't be forced into the match day list but STILL- Why can't we seem to un-earth a gem? Or even someone who can do 'a job?!' There's nothing like cheering for a kid coming off the bench making his debut for your club!!!! Who was the last 'breakout player??' - JT? Is there anyone who you truly believe WILL be a regular for us????
