At this point who cares? We have a CFC legend as manager with a staff full of CFC legends. We have a squad of young players (several of which are English and homegrown from our academy) that are going to play big minutes this upcoming season. Haven't we bitched and moaned enough over the last 15 years about this team making big splashes only to see them fail (please don't make me list them out) and counter that by asking that our young players get the chance to shine. We have been given a chance to see what our academy can produce. United has spent a boat load of money on top talent and managers and look at how they have performed. Liverpool got lucky that Mane, Salah, Van Djik, and Allison all were able to continue their high level of play at a higher level club / different league. They also got lucky that TA-A and Robertson became superstars last season. Spurs...won't win s**t as we have seen, and at some point will cave in and sell Kane, Alli, Son and Erikson (like they ALWAYS do) Arsenal...do we really need to talk about them?

CHO just needs to nut up, sign his deal and be the next of a new generation of CFC players (along with RLC, Mount, Pulisic) or put in another formal transfer request. The games these professionals play are f**king childish!

So I know this is off topic but why is FFP even a thing if they don't hold teams like City (the new Real Madrid / Barcelona) accountable for spewing money. I'd hate to think about this but maybe UEFA needs to look at an American style salary cap. It seems to work in the NHL where there is parity among the league.

So let us entertain the notion that we back the manager for a couple of years. IF Sarri is actually having a difficult time motivating these players than we need an entire overhaul of our team. Who do we keep and how in the world do we sign and entire team in one summer?

So in that same way of thinking Sarri would be just as successful as Pep is at City? I don't think there is ANY team in professional football that is currently Sarriball ready. Maybe PSG

I have two issues with Sarri as the manager. 1) His style of play relies heavily on players who have great close quarters ball control and high passing %. It is clear to me that we have less than 5 of those types of players on the team. However the one player that Sarri identified last summer for his team (Jorginho) has been absolute garbage. I am wondering if the EPL is able to support a Sarriball type system. 2) As we've seen from previous managers our board fails epically to get the players in that they want. How much B/S did we go through with the Sandro saga? Do you really trust this board to get the players in a transfer window to fit with our manager? With that being said I think we need to get a manager in that can work with what we've got.

Can someone please tell me why we are so worried about Champions League football when we have a difficult time getting very far into that tournament? Aren't we supposed to be winning trophies? Right now we have a better chance to win the Europa League and the CL.
