Blue Daze got a reaction from terryble things in Charly Musonda jr.Sorry, I meant he might struggle with his size unless he's either one of the two greatest players who have ever lived or one of the two greatest players who have ever played for us.
I'm a big supporter of our young players but even I wait until they've got a squad number before anointing them Messi's heir apparent.

Blue Daze got a reaction from All Barco no bite in Thibaut CourtoisCourtois is just as capable of making the saves that Cech is and he's clearly better in handling crosses. That's why pretty much every commentator who isn't associated with Chelsea rates him as the second best keeper in the world.
Obviously you're entitled to your opinion but answer this honestly. Do you really want the Cech of 2014 in goal for us or are you actually longing for him to return to his 2012 form? 2012 Cech I totally get the argument for, but the Cech of last year who developed the yips when dealing with crosses? Not really.

Blue Daze got a reaction from jack_super_class in Random RumoursThat's the criticism I always heard of him. Maybe he'd compliment Matic and Cesc nicely but I don't know if he has the end product we'd need there. He's fantastic on the ball though so if Jose could get the best out of him he could be a bargain.

Blue Daze reacted to jack_super_class in Random RumoursI have always liked him especially when he went into midfield at Fulham. He is a big strong powerful player but also has a lovely elegant style when he has the ball at his feet. The problem is i don't think people know where his best position is because he isn't creative enough to be a number 10 doesn't shoot enough let alone score and in midfield i heard he keeps hold off the ball for too long.

Blue Daze got a reaction from jack_super_class in Random RumoursI've been a fan of him for a while. He's a nice player, he's got all the tools but I think the criticism has been his ability to put it all together.
I'd be intrigued to see how he did in our team.

Blue Daze reacted to JoeyN in The John Obi Mikel Goal Scoring ThreadAmen. A passenger.
I have no hated for him, I just don't think he's done his best for us.

Blue Daze reacted to big blue in Our Youth on LoanHe recovered from that injury though and still was looking good. I think the season after we won the double there was a push to play youngsters like kakuta, bruma, and borini, the season didn't go well we didn't integrate them well enough, and that group of youngsters took the fall with ancelotti.

If I wanted creativity, I'd pick Ballack.
If I wanted goals, I'd pick Ballack.
If I wanted flair, I'd pick Ballack.
If I wanted a black, Brazilian footballer with an afro....I'd pick Ballack, but it'd be close. Obviously being black, Brazilian and having an afro would make it close, but it's that footballer bit that would swing it.

Blue Daze reacted to Smacky The Frog in WillianSanchez, easily. He mirrors Willian's primary strength (selfless defensive work) while being significantly better at pretty much everything else.

Blue Daze reacted to JoeyN in Game of ThronesWhat I meant about that comment, is that most self proclaimed feminists are not feminists at all. They just want special treatment. The real feminists are hugely respectable. The ones that don't cry misogyny at every little thing.
Of course it's a reflection of the time. Women were thought as property back in those days. Men and women were not equal then and it wouldn't look right if Martin portrayed as so. I find it all very hypocritical personally.

Blue Daze got a reaction from RichardCFC in Game of ThronesNot sure if that was a good episode or not. Some good moments, a lot of stuff left unanswered, some satisfying pay-offs, some pacing issues as usual and a lot of stuff that may be good depending on how it turns out next season.
But going back to the pacing issues, I often feel like the truly great moments of the show happen quite quickly with little build-up, whilst the boring moments seem to be given far more time. The exception to this is anything involving Tyrion where he's afforded a lot of time for some excellent on-screen moments.
But other 'high points' seem to be over in the blink of an eye.
Anyway, lots of stuff left unanswered but in a way that if you spent a moment thinking about it would probably reveal a very likely answer. That to me isn't fantastically satisfying. But the payoffs next season may well be incredibly satisfying for that.
Trying to avoid spoilers and it's extremely easy to nitpick in this show (and I could run through the list of cliffhangers in this episode alone, four of which one could label as hackneyed or cliched in the extreme to the point of amateurish) but
.
Actually I will nitpick a touch with those cliffhangers because they are quite cliched but...
Some really great moments too. But for the first time ever I can't jump straight on google and find the answers to the things left unanswered. I can just read internet sh*tfights about it.

Blue Daze reacted to Uno in Cesc FabregasPeople on here calling him a tosser etc, why because he played for Arsenal? Ashley Cole played for them before he joined us does that make him a tosser? We all hated Torres before he joined us and no people still back him even though he has done nothing for us since joining.
I think you are silly if you think that a player of his skill and talent wouldnt improve our team. How ever i cant see the board throwing money away on a player that we would have to find a way to fit into our current team.

Blue Daze got a reaction from Theafonis in Didier Drogba Returns! So just been out with my mates for a 'League Winning Celebratory Dinner' (something we haven't done for far too long) and we were talking about Drogba moving on. One of my mate's brings up something I've never noticed, and now it's on ChelseaTV which is just bizarre but it sums up the man.
So in the Champions League Semi-Final, 2nd Leg at the Bridge against Liverpool in 08 we get a penalty. Now it's the Lamps one that everyone remembers because it's not long after his mum passed. One of the most emotional moments I've ever experienced in sport and why I love Lamps.
But when he scores it and the players run over to the corner flag in front of the Matthew Harding, Drogba is one of the first there and as Lamps is kissing his black armband Didier wraps him up. You can see Didier saying something with him, but he doesn't let him go for a good 10 seconds and it's not the normal chest-thumping, screaming celebratory hug but something more. Ashley is there too, but it's Didier who is holding him, protecting him and comforting him.
Beyond all the goals, beyond Munich it's that heart that makes him an absolute legend and why, even if he stops playing, we can't let him go. He's too special.

Blue Daze reacted to big blue in Cuadrado - Chelsea's #23It's the nature of the transfer market I suppose. I'm hindsight we probably should kept schurrle and reviewed the situation in the summer. Cuadrado wasn't in the best of form at fiorentina when signed him, so I think if we had hung on, he wouldve been cheaper aswell.
Very disappointing we haven't sorted out that right wing spot though still, considering money spent. It doesn't look like there is much available this summer either.
