Why has the quality of the Premier League dropped?
You have mentioned the 2008 final in many of your posts and I don't see it's relevance. Eight years is a long time in football things and clubs fortunes can change very quickly. Different era's but Man Utd European champions 1968 relegated in 1974. Chelsea European Cup Winners Cup 1971 relegated in 1975. Leeds European Cup Finalists 1975 relegated in 1981. Spurs UFEA cup winners 1972 relegated 1976.

Martin Keown the only man who's looks would improve if he wore a gimp mask. You look at him and think Darwin was wrong about evolution.

Just read on the Chelsea Supporters Group blog that in 1976-77 a woolen scarf cost £1.50 a silk one cost 57p. Seeing as we were so skint then I don't think anyone would have objected if they had rounded it up to 60p !.

I used to wear an Eddie McCreadie's blue and white army silk scarf round the wrist happy days. They didn't look quite right if you wore them as a normal scarf if memory serves.

Ha ha brilliant. Met Mel Smith when he filmed an episode of Colin's Sandwich in my local. Really nice bloke he spent most of the day drinking, smoking cigars and backing horses.

Please help me to fulfill my dream!
The utter brassneck of this kid is unreal. If he looked down a bit he'd notice a thread about how expensive football is and people being priced out.

If I remember rightly we won 3-2 two years in a row at Watford. The first year we all got off at Watford High Street station and everyone hadn't bought tickets and said they had come from places like Bushey and Carpenders Park. Well the old bill knew this was was total bollocks and started nicking loads of people for fare evasion. So me and my mates had a quick pow wow and agreed on saying we got on at Wembley Central. Never paid the full fare if I could help it when I was young and only paid begrudgingly if it wasn't possible to bunk the fare. And I can remember we got charged 75p child's fare great days.

^^^^^^^^ Succinctly : How about trying that yourself? You talk down to people making your posts unreadable.- The price of football
The price of tickets has been a problem for years especially at Chelsea. But as soon as it affects our Liverpudlian friends then it gets massive media attention.- Chelsea vs Manchester United (PL) 07/02/16 KO: 16:00 BST

I was there Paul Elliot's first game there were a few we hate Celtic chants. Also Andy Myers debut I think. He looked good played in midfield was wasted at left back. That game meant I had done all the London clubs apart from Barnet. - Forgotten Players That Scored Great Goals
