Hi, I've started a fundraiser for the chance to go on a match, because my first trip ended not so well. It's just a personal dream I know it's not for charity or something like that but it would mean the world to me. Thanks for any help!

Personal opinion - these types of websites should be used only for important charitable causes, not for strangers to sponsor your jolly.

I like this.  He hasn't tried to disguise it as a charity just bare faced cheek.  "Come on folks why don't you pay for me to go on holiday, I can't earn enough on my own!"

Now I've read the attached website and find it really funny.  Your once in a lifetime dream has happened but you didn't get the outcome you hoped for so you need it to happen again.  Brilliant!

If the only thing that spoiled your trip was a poor match and a poor result, I'm sorry but that could happen the next time and the next.  No guarantees ever of seeing a good match or win.

 

I've been to four matches so far this year, Swansea, Stoke (away), Liverpool and Everton and haven't seen us win yet!

Also for me the result is a bonus when I get down to London to catch a game.

The pre match boozers, post match rants in same boozers with lads I have met and travelled with makes up for any poor display or result.

I hope the last time you got to see us you did the stadium tour and took in some of the other sights in London.

In all seriousness though I do understand this guys struggles being a student myself but I can safely say on weeks where I am struggling to eat and pay rent I sure as hell don't ever think about saving up to go watch the El Classico. Priorities are so important in life.
