I never once said we will score 100+ goals this season just because we did it last year. Nor did I mention anything about Ancelotti sitting around not planning for the coming season. I'm not sure you really read my post.

But we won't have only Kalou to call on. That's what confuses me. Were Deco and Joe really that influential off of the bench? I can't really say that they were. Joe had one of the worst runs of form I've ever seen from him which is why he is gone. Deco, apart from a few contributions and a couple of MOTM performances, was hardly a huge help. I also don't understand the "one dimensional" claim. How is scoring 103 goals one dimensional? I actually look at our lineup as covering just about all the "dimensions." We have Franky who is still the creative force with his passing and will still score goals. Essien (stay healthy) is the brute force that can power up the middle. Malouda seems to have molded himself into a player who can run the wing and/or the middle as we saw this past season. If Bosingwa comes back strong, that means we will have two wing backs charging forward once again... I'm not trying to say we have a perfect squad. We obviously do not, and I think defensively we need to strengthen, but to be or feel so unconfident just after this squad proved itself by winning the double...I just can't understand it. We (at least I) are always worried. That's the nature of being a supporter. But after last season, I can only look at Kalou on the bench as a positive. Just as it's always been. He is not and may never will be consistent starting material, but for what he lacks in ball control and finishing from three yards out in front of an open net :) , he makes up for with his pace and that ability to score those goals out of absolutely no where. He does that quite a bit, and whether it's skill or just dumb luck, as long as he continues to contribute in that way, Kalou at Chelsea is a plus.

Hahaha wow. Forgot about this. Typical 7am morning for us on the west. It was filmed by the radio show I interned for a while ago. Didn't really enjoy the way they cut the video, especially cutting the songs short or chopping them up to keep it PG. It was a good morning for us again, with both the result and the amount of pints. Geezer, and anyone who plans on taking a trip to Southern Cali we would love to have you. There are plenty of times where expat Chelsea will walk in without a clue we existed and are very surprised to find a bunch of drunken fools doing the bouncy in front of their breakfast. And Scott...the only way the word "firm" can be attributed to this group is by the couple of lawyers among us, or what happens to me when Salma Hayek is on the tele. That name, "OC Hooligans" was chosen by 6 guys in a pub 5 years ago who thought it would be ironic. And it sure is. Drinking, singing and an all around good time is what you'll experience at the Olde Ship.

Hahaha brilliant. And so her dedication and downright Chelsea-ness is highlighted yet again. Always on tour with us in the States whenever the squad visits.

Good for you mate. Got a nice photo taken with the FA Cup and Shield last year. Hope to do it again this year! With an added little bonus...the League trophy. :)

She is quite the encyclopedia isn't she? I have spent a great deal of time just listening to her list off one song after another. Sadly most of the time it was over one too many pints which blurs the memory. Cath is a legend and a damn good friend.

Brilliant end to a brilliant season. Calling for Kalou's head? He's had his best season so far. Thank goodness we have him! He don't do coke! CAREFREE! WE DID THE DOUBLE!
