I never rated Abbott and Costello who were also huge ply popular in their day. Just saw them as a poor mans Laurel and Hardy.
However, I was shown a scetch of theirs called Who's On First and it changed my opinion of them. Of course, of its time but silly and funny. 
50 cents and 2 tens for a 5 are also a good chuckle.
Not up there with Laurel and Hardy, but I can now at least appreciate why they were so popular.

Tbh, I don't think any player has had what I'd class as a great season, so I can't single out one player.
However. I think the following were the best/ most important players.
Consistency - Kova and Azpi.
Importance - Tammy's goals in the first half of the season for getting us up there. Giroud's goals for getting us over the line when Tammy went off the boil.
Mount, being young and doing well after stepping up a division.
Pulisic for magic moments and easing the pain of losing Hazard.
Razzie award can only go to one person and no need to say who that is.

The club gets a lot of stick when things aren't going great and not  competiting for the title, but even when we're not all that great we still finish top four, win cups or get to a final. That proves there's a real resiliance and hard nosed will to win at our club.

I can see both sides to this too.
But we start from the posistion of not having to score, so playing it a bit safe is maybe the best option. But then we have to take into account our keeper and defence and trying to play safe with that sorry lot is asking for trouble.
There's also the game at Leicester, which will surely have some influence on how we play as the games progress.

No new players signed for this season. Our youth players finally been given a decent amount of playing time. In the FA Cup Final and in with a chance of a CL place going into the final day of the season.   You must be extremely hard to please to not think that's a pretty  decent first season.

Why does it have to be mount or pulisic? Play Mount over Jorginho. It's clear as day!

Forget about Kepa and the horror defence. For me the positive to take from the game was the lads went away to the Champions and played to win and showed no fear. That is what Liverpool and City do home and away and that's the approach Frank and the lads need to continue with next season. Gone are the days when you can be the best with Jose style of knicking games with pragmatic football.

I really warmed to Jorginho. Sadly, for all his talent his serious lack of pace in the middle of the pitch is exposed too often in this league. 
He's more suited to the Italian league 

What is a worry is we keep looking to buy attacking, flair players but hearing little about some badly needed hardnut defenders.

No goal but that moment says so much about how truly dreadful Kepa is.
He is totally shot and needs to go no matter how much money we lose on getting rid of him.

He never seems to be in the right posistion. Looks like he sees the ball very late. Hardly moves his feet

re the body languge. Chris Waddle used to lope around the pitch at times. Glen Hoddle and Matt le tissier were not exactly renowned for their hard work. Platini could be seen standing with his hands on his hips while Giresse and Tigana did the donkey work. Next season, if CHO  starts scoring and creating nobody will give a toss about his body language.

For starters, his lack of pace in FB posistion will always be a real problem for him.  I get the impression he doesn't really care for the hard work side of defending and just wants to do the pretty stuff in the opponants half. Very much like a right sided version of Alonso but without the goal threat. Young enough to improve but a heck of a lot of improvement is going to be needed if he's going to make it at this level.

The current  3 are a horrible combination of players who do not compliment each other at all! 

Our defence gives me the willies when they're being pressed. Even late on in last nights game James got away with playing a very risky ball back to Kepa when it would have been much safer and easier to just lump it down the wing area. 

Still think Kova is overrated and not more than a decent squad player for a top 4 team. Energy, but still way too many runs and passes sideways and so little threat to the opposition. Just got to get someone in that posistion who can hurt teams.
