Dire Straits
- Early exit fans taught a lesson
Never left a sporting event early but f**k I've been tempted. Im not a great loser and get very uptight and could be inclined to loose it sometimes which outside sport is not like me at all as I'm fairly laid back. So to the people who leave early I can sort of understand it as they might get so wound up as to shout and behave in a detremental way to the team and teh fans around them. Best they just take themselves off. You can be sure that they will be back supporting their team as wholeheartatly as the next one the following week. Don't think we can just say 'they left early, they can't be a proper fan.' Btw the way did anyone else here see the third manure goal live against us. I'll admit I didn't. Had to get up and go for a walk outside. Just couldn't watch any highlights later either.- Piss Up - Arsenal - FA Cup Semi, 18th April
Going to get to this one all being well. Man City 14th Mar would be good as I reach the big 50 that day and Missus G had suggested London. However I'd imagine this is a fixture that could well be moved for TV. So really any other date should be fine, I'll go with the rest.- It was Lampard's Goal - Get over it!
I think Gray has heard about Gem and Frank and was saying it to wind Gem up. Think it may have worked. No doubt, Franks goal.- MOTM vs Stoke
close call for me between Lamps and Cole. Went with Cole who ha sbeen superb form for us this season and tireless in his work down the left.- Alex
At the moment we have 5 CH for two positions. I can't see us selling JT or Ricky. Ivanovic is a better utility player. Mancienne is a good prospect and has to be incouraged so if one player must go, and I think that should happen, then my choice would be Alex much as I like him.- PL, Chelsea vs Stoke City, 17/01/09, 1500 GMT
Surely he's worth a start next match.- PL, Chelsea vs Stoke City, 17/01/09, 1500 GMT
What a f**king strike from lamps- PL, Chelsea vs Stoke City, 17/01/09, 1500 GMT
Was going to post earlier that you could always see ntd scraping the win but you never saw it happening with us,- PL, Chelsea vs Stoke City, 17/01/09, 1500 GMT
one last chance. come on chels- PL, Chelsea vs Stoke City, 17/01/09, 1500 GMT
A lot of our shots have been hit and hopes from long range. How many decent chances have we made today from which we should score or at least work the keeper. One maybe two. Same week after week.- PL, Chelsea vs Stoke City, 17/01/09, 1500 GMT
This shooting from range awful.- PL, Chelsea vs Stoke City, 17/01/09, 1500 GMT
Anelka would you p[lease move to CF you're lomg range shooting is sh*te.- PL, Chelsea vs Stoke City, 17/01/09, 1500 GMT
Bad miss Lampard- PL, Chelsea vs Stoke City, 17/01/09, 1500 GMT
f**k sake- PL, Chelsea vs Stoke City, 17/01/09, 1500 GMT
I know we,re trying to get to the by-line more but still a lot coming in from deep. Anelka coming very deep looking for the ball. When was the last penalty we got. Seem to have loads of shouts for one each match.- Kaka open to move?
I've no problem with City going on their spending spree, best of luck to them and enjoy the ride. I wonder am I one of the only ones who thinks Kaka is good but he's not that good and certainly will not revolutionise the Prem, in fact he'll not be the best player in it. Of course he will probably prove me wrong but it's going to be interesting to see how he copes. To me Kaka is a simliar player to bergkamp and I'm sure city would be happy if they got the same service as arsenal did. For £100+M surely they could have got Messi, the only player in the world worth near that amount and in a class of his own.- Correct Score Poll/bet Vs Stoke
An even more convincing 4-0- Weekend Games 17/01/09 to 19/01/09
Blackburn v Newcastle 17/01/2009 15:00 GMT Bolton v Manchester United draw 17/01/2009 15:00 GMT Chelsea v Stoke 17/01/2009 15:00 GMT Manchester City v Wigan 17/01/2009 15:00 GMT Sunderland v Aston Villa 17/01/2009 15:00 GMT West Bromwich v Middlesbrough draw 17/01/2009 15:00 GMT Hull v Arsenal draw 17/01/2009 17:30 GMT West Ham v Fulham 18/01/2009 13:30 GMT Tottenham v Portsmouth 18/01/2009 16:00 GMT Liverpool v Everton 19/01/2009 20:00 GMT- FA, Southend vs Chelsea, 14/01/09, 2010 GMT
If only he identified each post as a zone.- FA, Southend vs Chelsea, 14/01/09, 2010 GMT
I thought that as well. JC is one of the bettre liked footballers in England by rival fans.- FA, Southend vs Chelsea, 14/01/09, 2010 GMT
Positives for tonight, Attitude, passion, some wide play down the left with Cole and Kalou, Negitives, Bosingwa. ( when he first come to us did he not get wide, to the by line and put in decent crosses. Now everything is from deep deep and deeper.) and Scolari and his zonal marking and not cov ering the posts at corners. Trying noy to get to carried away as it was only Southend but feeling a bit happier,- FA, Southend vs Chelsea, 14/01/09, 2010 GMT
Unlucky for di santo, that wasn't off side- FA, Southend vs Chelsea, 14/01/09, 2010 GMT
Anelka/ another nice finish - Early exit fans taught a lesson
