loz Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Notice that the 'Chelsea Lose' option is back again. I gave it a bit of thought and decided it bet to put it back however on one condition. If 'Chelsea Lose' is one of the top two options then rather than betting against us the money will be placed on another random football bet of Chippy's choice. (i.e. something like Spurs to get relegated!) This way people can choose 'Chelsea Lose' if that is what they truly think is going to happen but we don't shame ourselves by betting against our own team!!

Funny I posted on the Southend Scorebet that it might be a good idea to keep it, I edited it out after no one took any notice, I thought maybe if it came top we could either just bet on the next best and save some for the Kitty or bet on the top two but put less on them using it as a warning...anyhows fine with me. as for Stoke, I'm having a hard time between 2-0 and 2-1...bloody Zonal defending's getting me as confused as Alex ;) Edited January 15, 2009 by Chippy
loz Posted January 15, 2009 Author Posted January 15, 2009 I am going to show a rare bit of confidence and assume that the ridiculous goal we conceded today after the ones conceded in recent weeks will finally have persuaded Scolari to stop screwing around with a defensive approach to set pieces that has kamikaze tattooed on its buttocks. 2-0 to the Blues!
mad_mac Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 Can't see us not conceding, so I'll plum for 2-1
Sapper245 Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 I've gone for a 3-1 i can see us conceding a goal from a set piece.

If it is at Stroke, then 1-0 defeat... But at home and after sobering lesson on pulling up their socks, 2-0 - Anelka & Lamps. Strange that I am agreeing with you on so many things this season
Virosh Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 I usually go for us thumping other teams, but this time I feel it will be more like a modest 1-0 win. Can't see us losing

BlueBeard Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 I reckon 3-1 too - no way we'll keep a clean sheet if we continue defending the way we have been.
Ruh Buh Juh Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 3-0 to the Blues. Please prove us right for the what feels like the first time this season ;)
