only saw the second half but Kalou was very good again, Stoch looked bright which was good. Team spirit and togetherness was best I've seen it for quite a while, the players went behind as a unit and came back as a family...loved it.

Just to say I'm glad they dont give up as easy as some of the fans.

Sod it. I'm gonna go for Stoch. Even though he was only on for the last eight minutes.

Me too. A vote for Stoch is a vote for THE WAY FORWARD.

But of course, special mention to Lamps.

I thought Stoch looked good but we had about 40 chances and a lot of them before the 82nd minute...Prospect of the match maybe

Com'on Chippy. Click on the Stoch option. You know you want to.

I'm sure DKW will when he comes on. :P

I thought that Ashley Cole and Frank Lampard were good throughout the match, and that Franco Di Santo and Miroslav Stoch changed the game as they came in.

Other than them, it was all a dissapointment.

Voted for Stoch.

Just I said I only saw the second half not only the last five minutes. :D ..The boy done good and I'm glad your right about him but you know you can't give MOM for that when the team had made 35 chances before he came on, unless maybe he scored both the Goals?

I voted for Kalou. In the first half he was my clear MOTM as he was the only player who seemed to be trying to inject a bit of pace and creativity instead of just relying on the fact that our dominance in possession would eventually pay off. Second half I don't think he was quite as good but still one of the top three or four players on the park.

I also thought Lampard had a very good game as did Malouda. Anelka was terrible for 30 minutes but much improved after that.

Ballack was unfortunate that he was injured before the match and never appeared...

Kalou was excellent all game, as was Ashley and, actually, Malouda. Honorable mentions to them.

Stoch, it goes without saying, was sensational. Di Santo was very good

I gave it to Lamps because of the symbolism of his play. He was in the thick of the fight every time, shooting when he could, and when we went a goal down, his demeanor didnt change one iota. He was still pouring forward. After the Belletti goal, he was right after it, picking the ball out of the net for the restart. And the goal and celebration I cannot put into words. Chelsea legend. In every way.

Special mention to the whole team for the courage and diligence they all showed.

Mate I only saw the second half and voted Kalou...if he was better first half whats to discuss?

Stoch was good but he only touched the ball two or three times. He made the most of it...but still. Full credit to Lamps, that was a clutch strike right at the death and I was very impressed by his hustle. He was running to take corners and was on his game the whole time.

Ballack was dreadful for the most part yes, but am I the only one who thought he was good for the first 30 or so? No matter, it's Kalou for me.

Over the full 90 he was the most consistently agressive, productive, and dangerous player and I really don't know how he failed to nip a goal.

Do enlighten us with your wisdom, my lord.

well obviously the polls are more about flavour of the month votes, ironic votes, and of course the player that did more than you expected of him. hope that helps.
