KingOfMilwaukee got a reaction from Michael_AT in Wolves v Chelsea (PL) Sat 8th Apr 2023 15:00 GMTWe have among the best batch of kids at our Academy in the world. We keep selling them all. Why not clear everyone out on the first team over age 25, which solves our FFP issues, then throw the youth at the first team for a year and see how they do? I am fine being 10th-12th with youth that care and put in effort while we see who is ready for prime time. Then we become careful in the transfer market to plug the gaps and build-up from there? This mess won't be solved in one or two transfer markets so perhaps a top to bottom cultural change is needed? Just a thought.

Time?!
He was manager for under a year! Without a pre season. With 1 winter transfer window. In a year with a world cup in the middle. With then having to form a "team" out of x number of new young players who had never played in the EPL.
Dont tell me he had time! that is a joke.

KingOfMilwaukee got a reaction from JJ8 in Wolves v Chelsea (PL) Sat 8th Apr 2023 15:00 GMTBoehly would have sacked Arteta after his first year at Arsenal when he was out of the top 4. They finished 8th!!! Arsenal are showing the benefits of patience and letting someone with talent grow into the position. Clubs should take note, and not just ours.

To galvanise the fans !
As we lose 10-0 on aggregate to Real Madrid. At least we'll be galvanised
-
He broke Derby's finances to take them from 6th to 6th (whilst also having Mount and Tomori on loan), Championship level might be a stretch 😂

KingOfMilwaukee got a reaction from WeatherMan in Official Thomas Tuchel *Now Sacked*The thing the press (and a lot of fans) fail to understand is that Potter is not why Brighton are so successful.... it is because Brighton has a GREAT (with a capital "G") owner. The managers get too much credit and the owners too little. Look how much hardware was won here under so many different managers? What did it all have in common? Roman. Potter will fail miserably here if he is hired because he is not the reason Brighton is doing so well.... there owner is. It all starts there. And our new owners already seem out of their depth. So hiring Potter accomplishes nothing. The saying goes "Fish rot from the head, down."

KingOfMilwaukee reacted to evissy in BlueCo buy Chelsea FCIt is so hard to buy titles in the Prem. You can compete with the best of them but it boils down to consistency and luck mainly with injuries.
Boehly has said many times the team needs to win titles to be a successful business. He will follow that path and it means our academy will be strong and we will keep on buying prime talent available.

KingOfMilwaukee reacted to dkw in BlueCo buy Chelsea FCThe new owners have just spent billions buying the club, they will have to have raised this money somehow so likely wont have a nice big wallet full of dollars to just immediately go on a spending spree. The lack of patience on here is amazing at times, its becoming more and more like the twitter sh*t fest every day unfortauntely.

KingOfMilwaukee got a reaction from BordeauxBlue in Aurelian TchouameniThis guy is not worth £80M+. Get serious. Bissouma is a proven PL commodity for Brighton and can be had for £30M.

KingOfMilwaukee got a reaction from Night-T in Aurelian TchouameniI would much rather slot in Gallagher for free and spend the £83M on Nkunku for £55M and Gvardioli at center-back for £30M.

Too many and too many possibilities like will Tuchel stay as regards owner changes.
If he stays we need a striker that can compete with Havertz, Broja is a good finisher though less sure if he can lead the line on his own.
Kante is slowly going downhill so we will need another mobile midfielder and that might be Gallager.
We will need at least 1 centre back.
Chilwell may not fully recover and I would like wide backs that can cross like Alexander-Arnold at Liverpool we don't seem to have that.
Of course the above presumes we want to challenge for the league.
