Who in? Who Out?
Ducavis, A very well thought out post and I agree totally with nearly everything you said. Ashley Cole - as soon as he hits 31, Bale gets first team place with Ashely in reserve. <<< Really well judged on your part. The only thing that I don't totally agree on is the Forwards - there's 5 of them if either of Anelka or Drogba leave, so let's call it 5. Drogba, Anelka, Di Santo, Sturridge, Hulk, Dzego OR Rossi We should get rid of Anelka as I feel Drogba has a lot more to offer than him. Sturridge is a very good shout and I think he could be a star, but we have Di Santo. I've never heard of this Hulk man and you obviously know more about him than I do, so he'll have the benefit of the doubt. I think Rossi is also a very very good shout for the future, and has experience at the top level, so he's the one I'd bring in of them. So if we do bring in Rossi and get rid of Anelka that leaves us with a strike force of Drogba Di Santo Rossi Now that seems like a very promising strike force, but IMO, we need 4 strikers - 2 experienced, 2 youthful. I'm going to count Rossi as a youthful talent as he's only 22. But we'll need an experienced striker. But not one like Anelka, a strong one like Drogba. And I'd go for someone like Yakubu. Now hear me out. Yakubu has done brilliantly for Everton. He's 26, he's big, strong, good in the air, and can wreak havoc with defences. We could probably get him for around £10 million. So, if we do get what I want, which is a long shot, yes, we'll have a strikeforce of: Drogba Yakubu Di Santo Rossi Drogba leaves and not Anelka? Keep that same 4. Anelka + Rossi = Quick. Yakubu + Di Santo = Big.

Zhirkov to Chelsea Confirmed
I hope we do get him. Simple as that.

Who in? Who Out?
Have to say, that made me chuckle :D and to the questions. 1) I really want Hiddink to stay. I think he's done a superb job so far (besides Spuds, but that was more the team not turning up rather than his error) and hope it continues, with the FA Cup added to our trophy cabinet. Obviously would love the CL there more than anything, but it's a long shot with Liverscum on the QF and then if we get past them Barca/Bayern in the Semi's. The FA Cup is doable, but we have to get past the Arse first. 2) Leave: Malouda, Ballack, Deco, Paulo (see answer 3), Mineiro (who I don't actually count as a player), and a toss up between Alex and Ivanovic. I wouldn't like to see either leave, but one of them will, and it will probably be Ivanovic has he's had less playing time. 3) In: VDV, Zhirkov (we must buy Zhirkov first before we sell Paulo, as Paulo is our only realistic LB cover), Silva is the more realistic option but Ribery is who I'd love to see in Blue, wearing our #7. 4) 4-5-1 is basically a slightly more defensive 4-3-3 and I don't really like it and prefer the 4-3-3. ........................Cech ...Bosingwa...Riccy...JT...A.Cole ...............Essien..........Lampard .........................VDV ...Ribery.................................Zhirkov .....................Drogba My ideal team for next season. Lampard and Essien won't be defensive one bit, just they'll be the one's helping out in defence more than VDV. Essien and Lampard will be going back for corners, with Ribery and VDV on the halfway like ready to counter. Would love that.

Next Chelsea Manager
I hate to say it, but that's what Manure did with Rednose. He was a young manager at the time, had a shocker of a first season, but they gave him a chance, at look where that got them?
-
Ashley Young
:D I laughed. And I would say Silva is a winger.
-
Ashley Young
I can see your thinking now. And that's a pretty decisive arguement that I haven't got a counter to. We'll just have to wait and see if he's given the chance of not. Ribery - he's my favourite player in the world atm. He's just amazing.
-
Ashley Young
I see both Sturridge and Young as potentially great signings. Both young, hungry for football. Young is the perfect replacement for Malouda. But crux though. If we do get Sturridge, where does that leave Di Santo? Get rid of Malouda and Quaresma? Malouda, yes yes yes, Quaresma? I can't see your thinking.

How could you?! :P

Player of the Year
Lampard is the obvious one. But I think Cole deserves it. He's had some rough times at Chelsea with the fans getting on his back and that, and he's played really well for us. He'd get my vote.

Quote of the century
This isn't about football, but it's one of the funniest quotes I've heard in a long time... There was a big county council meeting near me and one of my friends that went said that this is how the meeting started... "OAPs were protesting by sitting in the councillors' chairs, and the mayor said get out, they reply "not until you listen to our cause, and let us have our swimming pool"" I found that absolutely hilarious.

Best/Favourite live album
I love Bullet In A Bible. I got the DVD and it's amaaazing. Slipknot I haven't seen, but have seen clips on Youtube and was awed by it. Joey Jordinson on the drums is incredible. Will have to see them one day.

Manure get more lenient reffing
Anyone catch Match Of The Day? Particularly the Manure game? Ronaldo should've been sent off for dissent at the ref, lunging into a stupid tackle with studs up (he got a yellow for that) and then later on he did some more dissent at the ref. Rooney should get more than a one match ban also for his sending off. Shouting in the refs face when he was sent off should be another yellow card, and then when he was walking away, he punched the corner flag. Shocking. But oh it's wonderful to see Manure like this <_<

MOTM vs Spurs
Had to be Malouda. Had drive when he came on and made a difference. Unlucky not to score at the end aswell.

PL, Spurs vs Chelsea, 21/03/09, 1500
An absolute disgrace. Lampard was shocking. Malouda was surprisingly the only one with any drive. He gets my MOTM vote when it comes up, even though he wasn't at all brilliant. Utterly shocking. Man U drop 6 points in 2 games and we can't capitalise. Utterly shocking.

9 men actually...Scholes and Rooney sent off.

Drogba's gone down the tunnell with smelling salts, we'll see if we'll see him in the second half.

Concern for Drogba...says he landed awkwardly..."stretcher approaching"...oh no.

Champions League Quarter/Semi Final Draw
Yeah I hope so. But it's Liverpool and Tyldsley has never missed out on commentating on a Liverpool match, ever. And he (along with Alan Green) is the most biased towards Liverpool and anti-Chelsea commentators around.

Drogba Police Cautioned
Ahahah :D I've got a friend at school that's always making cheap puns at everything, and I've learnt to pick up when puns are used over the years B)
