Was he still right about the KFC though?

Lads, it's fine. I've got a ticket and I've never seen us lose at the bridge (except that time against Blackburn, but that didn't count because I say so)

Paulus got a reaction from Andy North in Bournemouth v Chelsea (PL) Sun 17th Sep 2023 14:00 GMTPositive post ....We have 2 of our 3 strikers injured, Sanchez played well, he had to though. Palmer looks good on the ball, and a starter for me. Players coming back from injury in the next few weeks.
Clutching at straws I know, but I'm not going let my beloved club be dragged through the mud every week. If you dont want to watch your team then you shouldnt support them. If all supporters felt like that then two thirds of grounds would be empty every week.
Our time will come again, just be patient .

I'm feeling post international break optimism. I reckon it'll be a convincing draw.

Include Mudryk and I'm with you.

Mudryk guys - just a cameo but that’s the closest we’ve had to Hazard, since Hazard!

Paulus got a reaction from bluedave in Should Graham Potter be sacked? (2nd poll)The players coming back from injury will give us our respectability back. I'm not saying we will be tearing trees up, but if you look at where we were in May /June last year, with the possibility of there being no Chelsea fc at all, then it puts today's situation Into perspective. Don't get me wrong, I'm far from happy with our league position, but, this sense of entitlement that we should be top 6 every year is crazy. Suck it up for now and look forward to the great Chelsea comeback. It will happen!

Paulus got a reaction from dkw in Should Graham Potter be sacked?Nice post, took the words right out of my mouth. I would add though that this constant craving for success becomes overwhelming . We have to sit back sometimes and look at the big picture. Even if ,say after a 6 months to a year, Potter has moved the team forward , sold the deadwood and brought in some young talent and we are in a better place than we are now, THEN if results dont come, then calls for him to be sacked would be valid in my view, but not yet , give the guy a chance, Rome wasn't built in a day. We can all see this isnt going to be turned round quickly, so suck it up and let him do his stuff, as hard as it to watch sometimes, and believe me its a tough watch . Potter wasnt brought in to be the quick fix manager we've grown accustomed to over the last 10 years, this is a new era, with a new owner doing it his way.

Paulus got a reaction from AndyDowsleftflank in Should Graham Potter be sacked?Fair point, the only tangible evidence we can go on, is that experienced pundits, and there were many of them, touted him as the next England manager and felt he had the quality to move to bigger things. Is that enough to believe he can get Chelsea back to winning ways ? Who knows ,but for myself ,I dont want to go back to the hire and fire culture at Chelsea. We've become a laughing stock over the past few years IMO , and I personally am prepared to take the pain ,and hope for the gain in the medium to long term .
