We would probally won them with a regular D/M like Ake, why keep fitting square pegs in round holes, grow a pair and trust in youth.

Trouble is I can, & at times wish I could not, also what with the refereeing this season has not helped, with a lot of teams not just us.

Very pleased Burnley won, as for forgiving them for having a player that commits criminal leg breaking, harmful & thuggist tackles no way, hope they still get relegated end of this and next season.

Chelsea fans racially abuse a man on the Paris Metro
Is racism still a major problem in football? Only when the agenda driven media make it so.

West Ham vs Chelsea (PL) 04/03/2015 KO: 19:45 GMT
I am far from wrong. We have some excellent posters on here that put their point across with eloquence or start threads to interest or inform others, but not to belittle them or start a war like you, you would rather start a thread or post in one just to have a verbal punch up, a war with words, that what gives your kick, that and your small man syndrome. You have come on here and after a short while decided we do not need a Rangers thread, nor a thread to decide who is better Cech or Courtois, but start a thread on persistant standind which you know always provokes aguments, then belittle winning the League Cup, another agument winner, why pay all that money for a ticket? when in your mind it is not worth winning anyway, strange. Do you see a pattern? because I do, so do all those other posters you have alienated I am sure. alienated

If We Didn't Already Know That FA Referees Were Awful
Part of good article from Martin Samuel on video technolodgy. Full article http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2974737/Premier-League-needs-video-replays-help-referees-sort-bloody-mess.html It was business as usual in the Premier League on Saturday. The referee at Old Trafford did not know who had committed the foul, the one at Stoke City did not know what a foul was. Stephen Ireland needed 12 stitches for a wound sustained in an incident that Neil Swarbrick did not even consider worthy of a booking, Wes Brown is surely certain to get the red card brandished by Roger East rescinded on appeal. Both incidents could have been corrected, instantly, with the benefit of technology’s third eye, yet we remain several years away, at least, due to the intransigence of those who shape football’s rules Some of us have long been sceptical about the use of video replays, and still are. But this cannot continue. We do not need manager challenges, or every goal wound back 10 phases of play to see if a reason can be found to cancel it. We do not need to wait while officials crowd around a monitor and have a good look. We do not need replays from 12 angles, endless referrals, or a ruling on each thrown-in or offside in a fruitless quest for perfection. We just need to prevent travesties. Call it a WTF ruling. Those moments when the watching millions stop in their tracks and say: WTF? Like Wes Brown getting sent off when it was plainly John O’Shea who committed the foul. Like Maynor Figueroa not even getting booked having put a mighty gash in Ireland’s calf. WTF? These mistakes could have been rectified in an instant and during a natural break in play. In the case of Brown, a penalty had been awarded. In the case of Figueroa, a free-kick had been given and treatment was required. There are no restart issues, and no need for lengthy analysis of footage. The rulings are straightforward and easily reached: you are sending off the wrong man; that was a red card offence. WTF? The Dutch proposal, put on the back burner for another year by the law-makers of the International FA Board, is the best yet.

The John Terry Appreciation Thread
He has the same charisma for the FA as Brian Clough, & Harry Redknapp, the fa could not reconise a great manager as long as they have so many Noddy Nomarks in their selection committees. He would never take the job IMO.
