  1. Guus had said prior to taking the chelsea job he would retire from football management after the 2010 world cup. Therefore he is not a managerial candidate for the long term. We would be best off appoint him director of football and put a young manager in place such as ancelotti or rijkaard who are both keen admirers of Guus.He could hold this position for 4-5 years before retiring. His influence would act as a stabiliser at the club.
  2. Cech Bosingwa---Carvalho---Terry---A. Cole -----------------Essien------------------ -----J.Cole--------------Lampard--- Quaresma-------------------------Zhirkov ---------------Benzema----------------- Sell Drogba, Deco, Malouda, Mineiro, Ballack, Ivanovic (if he wants to go) Also Bring in Dzagoev

  4. 1-Jose isnt goin to leave Inter 2-Zola and Clarke arent goin to walk out on West Ham Shortlist: Mancini Sven Rijkaard with Gullit as no. 2 Hiddink Deshamps Avram Dick Advocatt David Moyes Spalletti Anchelotti Out of all those I think Sven,Rijkaard,David Moyes and Avram are possibilitys
  5. Odds suspended on Jose on skybet. Whats the story with that?
  6. I've posted the Juande Ramos article in the New managers section. See for yourself. You're right i would throw in ivanovic aswell
  7. Scolari has to go.I read on guillem balagues website after the United defeat that Roman approached Juande Ramos' representives sounding him out for the job in the summer seen as he's only on a short term deal till the summer at Madrid.I'd love to see Rijkaard with Gullit as his assistant. They would implement the Dutch system thats instilled in them of 4-3-3 with pacy wingers and a lethal hitman to spearhead the attack which rijkaard used to perfection in the champions league winning season. We Should play with this until the end of the season. Cech Ferreira Carvalho Terry A Cole Bosingwa Essien Lampard Quaresma Di Santo Anelka
  8. Drogba Out. What a disgrace. Anelka isn't far behind him either. He should rot i reserves. Di santo should start between now and the end of the season.
  9. Zola is to honourable to walk out on west ham especially when convinced players like Upson,Parker and Green to stay in Jan. O' Niell will never leave Villa where he has the full support of his chairman and no interference from anyone. For me i would go for Rijkaard with ruud as his assistant. Also get rid of Drogba, Malouda, possibly Anelka aswell. Bring in passionate players who are willing to fight for the club. Moyes would be a good choice aswell as he would bring passion and organisation back to chelsea. However Juande Ramos could be a major possibility according to Guillem Balague 14/01/2009 Juande Ramos informed of Chelsea interest The rumours surrounding Scolari’s future at Chelsea are gathering pace and the message coming from Abramovich’s aqcuaintances is that the search for a new manager is well under way. It may seem premature, but the Chelsea owner – who visits the training ground far less frequently than he used to – is nevertheless still on top of events at the club and believes that there is a widening gulf between the current manager and his players: a group of players that is in need of an overhaul. It is felt that Scolari has failed to win neither the support of the dressing room nor the hearts and minds of the senior figures in the side. An enquiry over a possible replacement led to the name of Juande Ramos being mentioned to me by someone very close to Roman Abramovich. Furthermore, a very well known football agent has been in touch with the Real Madrid coach to inform him of Chelsea’s interest. Juande Ramos was on Chelsea’s list of potential managers back in the summer of 2007, but the then Sevilla coach preferred to keep the faith with his agents at the time – and who had already been in contact with Spurs – rather than jump ship and sign up with another agent who was promising him the Chelsea job. Roman Abramovich remains an admirer of the former Spurs coach and, via the aforementioned agent, he has let Ramos know that he%2
  10. Stay: JT Lamps A Cole Essien Carvalho More or less everyone who is not in the out list Go: Drogba Malouda Deco Kalou Maybe Anelka if we could bring in some quality in the summer
  11. I think we must stick with scolari as if we're seen to get rid of a manager when things get tough we'll never attract the big name players and managers to the club again. We knew when we signed up scolari that we were going to have to sacrifice a little bit of the defensive security we once had under mourinho for the flowing football however we have only conceded 15 PL goals this season. I feel the defensive performances have improved since the Manu game and he seems to be learning from his mistakes with a man on the post. We held out Liverpool for long periods of attack against defence as when we got the ball we had no options in advanced areas. The addition of Quaresma, a new front man and another pacy winger in the summer may give us the edge as we have been playing well up to a point its just our toothless attack which is letting us down. Some scolari summer signings and the clearing of the deadwood along with the return of essien could make all the difference
  12. To be honest the same thing which happened to Barcelona last season is happening to us. We need a total overhall of the club from top to bottom just like they did. Overpaid aging egos must be replaced e.g Deco, Drogba,Malouda plus the substandard hangers on e.g Kalou. If Roman is still interested in taking chelsea to the top he needs to invest heavily. If not he needs to take the money and run. I think the latter might be the case. I know a consortium might not be but otherwise we could be the next Leeds United. We need a new manager and coaching staff. My vote Zola. Our 4-3-3 system is ideal for winning titles and producing fluid football its just scolaris style of meaningless ball retention and over congestion of midfield and no wingers is the problem. We go through games failing to even get a handful of shots on goal. His recrd against the big four is one point from 15 and people crucified Grant last year for this.We have alot of the players needed if we can add some pace and energy in wide areas and a hitman up front who can score goals at the highest level(which anelka can not). These improvements along with Zolas passion and flowing football would set the league alight blowing cautious liverpool and stuttering arsenal out of the water. Arneson must go as he has yet to produce one player since he arrived at the club.
  13. Not scolaris fault today. He's doing the best he can with the resources. Ideally we need to bring in two wide players and sumone like Santa Cruz to play up top.Essien would give us the urgency we needed in midfield while the wide men would allow us to exploit teams the way duff and robben used to. I don't think robinho is what we need. He always wants to come infield aswell. The side is badly in need of heavy investment. Zhirkov/ Arshavin/ Ashley Young/Schweinsteiger. Drogba,Kalou,Malouda all need to go and maybe deco too
  14. Yeah he's best off go back out on loan and again next season if Wolves get promoted as experience which he's unlikely to get at the bridge at the min will stand him good stead when he is summoned to slot into the chelsea back 4
  15. its not what even what he gives us as a player dat makes him unreplaceable he gives us d drive and leadership we clearly need. plus he is the heart and soul of the club like maldini at milan and raul at madrid
  16. With City pumping millions into the squad it looks like much of their young potential may be squeezed out. We badly need to add youth to the squad. Richards and Sturridge for Alex now or in the summer. This could be a genuine possibility as Richards has been struggling for form while Sturridges contract is due for renewal and with the possibility of having Bellamy Santa Cruz and Jo to contend with could force him elsewhere. A player should not have to be a portugese speaker to be considered. Young English talent is what's needed
  17. with richards reportedly unnsettled at city let them have alex andgive micah and sum cash
  18. loan him out to let him prove to scolari how good he is
  19. if drogba is prepared to co-operate i don't see y we need another stiker. we already have drogba anelka kalou and di santo and into the bargain we're top scorers in the league. I wouldn't mind a winger in the same position as saviola whose available for loan and has a point to prove.
  20. 25M and Malouda why not?
  21. munich were reportedly keen on flo malouda. I'm we could come to some sort of arrangement.
  22. Arshavin at 15M seems like a good piece of business. The wayne bridge money would go along way in bringing him in plus the sale of the likes of malouda in the summer. Plus with abramovichs links to CSKA we should be able to get Zhirkov on loan with the option to buy in the summer. What about Pogrebniak of zenit aswell whose been linked with Blackburn. He's a good target man and could prove useful if drogba decides to leave. The addition of even one of these could give us the spark we so desparately crave at times when teams park the bus
  23. In-demand Hoffenheim striker Chinedu Ogbuke has spoken of his ambition to play in the Premier League one day. The 22-year-old hot-shot is reportedly being tracked by Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal. He is much-coveted after scoring 18 times in 39 games for Hoffenheim since his switch from FC Lyn-Oslo in August 2007, with six of those goals coming this season. And the Nigerian - who has previously had trials with Chelsea and Portsmouth - has told skysports.com that he would love to play in the English top-flight, although he is happy at his current club for now. He said: "To play in the Premier League is one of my ambitions - I had a trial at Chelsea before going to Lyn-Oslo. I love the Premier League, but at the moment I am fine at my club in Germany, but you never know, one day I might go. "My friend (John Obi) Mikel told me about the Premier League, it is the best league at the moment, stadiums are always packed and strikers, offensive players, enjoy themselves." While the striker admitted Chelsea were one of the biggest clubs "however there are so many big clubs, even in Germany," he said. "My ambition is to play in the World Cup - I need to impress to be part of this famous tournament, it is a dream of any African player." Sounds a bit like this guy would jump at the chance to join us. Flog drogba and get young blood like this guy in on half the wages and twice the desire
  24. what about doing a deal involving morten nielsen who celtic are keen on
  25. How is it we've never been able to avail of the loan market. We could bring the likes o f Drenthe and Van der Vaart who are out of favour at madrid. If madrid were reluctant to loan them out we could do some sort of deal possibly involving malouda as they are desparately looking for wingers.
