I do not believe so many people are buying this. IT IS A PR STUNT PEOPLE! These two only married after he had many gay accusations wn at him, and she had been accused of being racist after an attack on a black woman. Bizarely they 'marry' after this! He can no longer be accused of being gay because he has married a woman, she can not be a racist as she is marrying a black man. They appear in many glossy photoshoots, make lots of money and increase their 'profile' Some would call this a perfect marriage of convenience. And of course in a large 'footballers mansion' you can pretty much live in seperate wings of the house. Anywayyyysss.... So now we are to believe that he will crash out of his 'marriage' due to his 'womanising ways' to spend more time with his ('special') friends! Squashes those 'gay' rumours nicely. Of course before the marriage Cheryl had been accused of being a racist, BUT we have all forgotten that now, AND she has been married to a black guy...who WRONGED (!!!) her. Great PR work!!!! Cashley is now the prime hetro man, and Cheryl can carry the wronged woman act around for a while increasing public love for her in a Diana-esque way!!! Don't believe it. Chelsea should get rid of this joke. I said in the summer, lose Cashley, get in Gareth Bale...should have happened.

Writing off is a bit strong. I think most are just considering that if he does not want to sign then life goes on, and for once we need to prepare before hand...remember how we did not prepare for Gallas leaving for example....*shudder*. The problem with Lamps and Ballack in tandem is that there is a pace issue. Essien can help to redress that, SWP is doing similar in the middle right now, but those two with a holder behind them would be a tad dodgy to my mind. I could see Arsenal's midfield (for instance) tearing it to pieces if it was Lamps, Ballack and Maka. All that fast paced moving and passing...yikes!

If a player really wants to go, it is best to let him go. NO-ONE is bigger than the club or irreplaceable. If he goes we just say so long and thanks for all the fish!
