Build-up to the Champions League Draw
Joking a side, if we did meet Rangers would we get the same warm welcome in Glasgow? Not quite so sure the Blues Bros. run that deep.

Great idea - could be a sticky I like mailing lists where you have a current listening list (5 tops) as a signature.

Apparently according to Keith Richards the Stones version of Satisfaction was only a dubb and Alan Oldham released it without their say-so. Richards commented along the lines, "in my head when we wrote the finished article should have sounded like the Otis version". Can't say it's my favorite Otis track, that's "I can't turn you loose", but I do love those horns.

Saw Edwin around 72/73 he was somewhat older then but still a master; remember he had a white suit on with a huge spide embroided across the left shoulder. I reckon Prince can be added to the list (just picked up a bootleg of his gig on the 4th)

Welcome Juliano Belletti
Is there a long-term in football among "overseas" players - we acquired Robben when we was young only to lose him three years later. There is a reason why JM wanted this guy whatever that may be, and it's definitely not the end of Johno or Paulo only inspiration to gain that number two shirt.

Official - Belletti has joined Chelsea. On CFC website now
Our best right-back/centre half option is at QPR yet again (he should have been called back last season)

Birmingham Home MOTM Vote
I voted for Ricki - reckon SWP has to stop doing his occasional Gr?njaer impressions to get motm

Birmingham City 12th Aug .
I thought Johnson played okay, if you watch the challenge the ball bounced off of kapo's leg and could have gone anywhere but fell in his path hardly Johno's fault perhaps if he had had a bit of cover it wouldn't been a goal.

Robben puts in transfer request
Robben developed his "superior skill" playing in the Dutch league and training with the first team players and that's the same opportunity we are now affording Scott. The flashes he has shown already in the few minutes his has played bode well. He has the confidence, the manager has confidence in him and by Christmas we will all be singing his praise and will have forgotten A. Robben as he rots in the Real madrid medical room. Long live the Chelsea youth policy

Some one you can rely on
I was thinking of noting all his predictions and then making up the league table as if he was right everytime, it would be interesting

Well he didn't have options, no one was moving in to space. Even at throw-ins it looked like subutteo at times Essien went to left-back on Sunday (Diarra went to right) and he didn't look that great there either.

Just got back from my first trip to the new Wembly. And from my view in the crow's nest they call level 5 no one seemed to want to run off the ball the word static sums up our approach, the one time it did happen we score! No matter how much you dislike the "fat scouse" you have to admit Rooney makes some great runs.
