Glad to see BFW got the best out of Torres, every bit a 50 million striker today

Made the odd blunder, but still played some good football RIP

Fickle or Forgiving
Much the same response as Bluebeard to an excellent post. Have to add I agree with Ferguson saying it's criminal the Robbie doesn't get to take the team to Japan and to become World Club Champions. The honour has no right to be on FSW's CV.

This must be the end of loyalty points at Chelsea

Torres - The "Groundhog Day" Thread
So with FSW in place Torres should score 15+ before Christmas and 45+ by the end of the season

Thank You Robbie
Big thank you Mr D, you've done more for the club and its fans both on and off the pitch than you can imagine. Legendary.

Reading through the posts here I have to side with Just. Pity he didn't sack Torres as quick and get a real striker instead

Robbie Di Matteo sacking (merged)
Yet again the press know all about a man they have never spoken to, what he's thinking, what he's going to do next. Be honest putting Doughnut man in the frame is not rocket science, he's looking for a job and is peeing up every lamp post outside every ground in the country hoping some one picks up on his scent I'm only surprised Sven hasn't been mentioned.

The next bands you are going to see?
Hate to say it Maks, but you missed an amazing gig last night. Around about 2 hours 10 minutes, the highlight was the 5 song acoustic set in the middle of the show: the guitarist, bass and Bird stood round a large omnidirectional mic and just hit the spot. His use of digital loops was pretty good too. Thought the sound engineer done a good venue mix and managed to keep a well balanced sound all night, which must be difficult considering the range of his music.

Longing for Long
I'd rather see Furez or Bamford given a chance with the big boys, both are doing well in the u21's, but sadly they're not Brazilian

Danny...a month to prove himself?
I said a few weeks ago else where on the forum, drop Torres, play an extra man along side Ramires and Obi and let any 3 from Hazard, Oscar, Hazard, Sturridge, Mata or Moses run wild.

Transition and Expectations
I thinking going from the oldest squad in the PL to one of the youngest in the time it takes RA to sign his name has flown over the heads of 75% of our support.

Will do, been waiting a long time for this too, couldn't believe it when I saw he was playing here. Forgot to add if you plan to come over to Gbg for a gig in the future, I'm sure I could put you up.

Really enjoyed the gig although it was a bit short, 75 mins, but I suppose when you only have one album's worth of material and you don't delve into your ex-band's catalogue (Fleet Foxes) that's going to happen. I don't think I've seen anyone who speaks to the audience as much as he did, not long monologues a la Bruce, just a few quips between every song, some relevant, some from a place only he lives in, but all tinged with a huge dollop of sarcasism. The highlight of each song must have been his body movements/dancing made me think of what Jim Carey would be as a rock star. All in all, the support band were good too (No), not a bad night out for 16 quid and I only live round the corner from the venue.

Are Chelsea in another winter slump?
Come on people - it's bad enough having an owner with a liking to sack without the fan base turning: fact check: PL 3rd; FACup Yes, League Cup Yes; CL Yes; World club champ. Yes Ask Utd or Citeh fans if they can say the same
