Yup that's what the reviews suggest that they are much quieter than the earlier ones.

Chelsea Pre-Season
We were out of breath and ideas by then, the second half was mostly dominated by them. It was pretty evident that some of the youngsters were clearly short on experience and fitness.

Matic on loan to Bologna?
Its goal.com so I am not too sure how much of attention we should give to this news. By far one of our better players against Palace and Ajax, I see him playing a substantial role in the league/ FA cup games.

James Milner
Dont exactly recall the number of games Ballack has changed in a Blue shirt. He may have done it for the German national team but for us they were few. So its not only about changing a game its about how you fit into the team. For me Milner would be a very good buy and given our midfield situation he would be more than welcome.

We've got a new version of Xbox in the house. Not much has changed though, the good news is that the older ones just got cheaper and now starts at as low as 149$. http://www.zdnet.com/photos/xbox-360-s-2010-unboxing/443450

Liverpool sign Joe Cole
Looking forward to his visit to the Bridge, surely some of us would like to discuss "politics" with him. :)

Link to Ramires
Yaya Toure, Viera, Barry, Di Jong, Ireland - I wonder how on earth is he going to break into that midfield. Also makes me laugh thinking about the joke that Man City is.

Bruma to Wolfsburg on loan
Yup lets do that - If you treat Europa league (former UEFA cup) as a continental competition then you'd see where I am coming from. Valencia, Sevilla and Athletico have all won the second tier of the European competition. Surely thats an indication that the Spanish mid table teams are better than the ones from other leagues. To your point of teams apart from Barca/ Real playing in the finals - you have surely heard of Valencia yeah? Back to back finals in two years, some would call it unlucky but they were a very good side in the 2000 - 2005 period. The point is the only way you can judge a league is how good the representative clubs perform in the continental competition. German clubs were big in the 90's but apart from Bayern none of them manage to perform at a decent level in the continental competitions.

Michael Mancienne
Yes he did pretty weel but I dont think it was a MOTM performance. I will post the link of Mancienne's performance against Arsenal - maybe that should help some of you out here.

Bruma to Wolfsburg on loan
Yes Bayern did make it to the finals but the question is how often do German clubs make it to the semis let alone finals of the CL. When you compare that with the Spanish/ English teams who make it year after year you know that those are the stronger leagues. You could also bring the Europa league into the picture and still the English/ Spanish teams reign supreme. The question is whether the Bundesliga is a better option or a stint at a lower PL side like Wolves/ West Brom. I am sure that a stint at a lower side will help him gather far more experience than a bit part role at Wolfsburg.

Bruma to Wolfsburg on loan
I did mention in my post that its only Bayern in Germany that poses some threat to the clubs from England/ Spain. Bayern too haven't been too consistent in the recent past. Would you be scared at the prospect of being drawn against the likes of Schalke and Wolfsburg? I wont be, that I am sure of.
-
Michael Mancienne
As I pointed out in my earlier post - its all about patience now because he seems to have the ingredients in place. Frankly I dont recall any of our loan players putting in a MOTM performance against a top side like Pool/ Arsenal. So it's pretty evident from those performances that the lad can step up at a big stage.

Bruma to Wolfsburg on loan
Please share the basis on which you make that comment. The national team is not a reflection of the quality of the league, by that count the premier league is a pretty crap one. Thats not how it works, german clubs have not been great in European competition for some time now. Now that is a proper yardstick of gauging how good/ poor the quality of a league is. Apart from Bayern none of them have posed any threat to the English/ Spanish clubs. See the point ?

Bruma to Wolfsburg on loan
Chances are that he is more likely to play at Wolfsburg than here. I am not sure if its a good move for a defender to play in the Bundesliga given the quality of the league.

Luis Suárez
With our defence I dont see him being on the goal line for staters. :)

Torres Leaving L'Pool
Well before he came to the bridge Carlo kept denying it till he eventually landed here. He said Joey would like to stay and so does the club we all know what happened to him. He comes across as a fine player of poker to me.

Bran on the right, Yuri of the left
I agree. I liked the way Bertrand went about his business against Palace and by the looks of it he seems to be capable of being a backup to Ashley as the second choice left back.
-
Michael Mancienne
He was their first choice as CB for the first half of their season. He had some issues with his health and fitness where he lost out a month and by then Craddock and Berras had formed a partnership. Having said that Mick has always shown his preference for playing him and made sure he started in the big games against Pool and Arsenal. He wont he MOTM against Arsenal and was very effective in marking Gerrard. He's a defender whose strength is reading/ anticipating the game. He is very much in the Carvalho/ Baressi and Cannavaro breed of defenders and these guys only get better with experience. I hope we show some patience with him.

Link to Ramires
Looked a good player when he came on for Brazil as a sub, infact I'd take him over Melo anyday. Given our midfield situation today it may be a good addition if he came in the range of 8 to 12 million.

We had better act QUICK in the Transfer Market
Lets talk about what you have in hand, Bridge is what you have and I am not sure Kolarov is going to be much of an improvement on Bridgey. As far as Toure is concerned, if he was not as good as Kompany in the first place it makes me wonder why he was handed the arm band? Personally I am not sure whether Kompany can keep up his form over a league season but as you say its a partnership with Lescott that made it work. Though I still dont see a world class defender in your line up. :)

Champions League for Youth Teams
Great concept, would be awesome to watch the youth products from various countries clash.

New Chelsea TV Online – Live friendlies
I dont see any harm in promoting stuff related to the official site. At the end of the day we are a part of the club and if this is a product/ service from the club we support then I dont have any hassles with it.

We had better act QUICK in the Transfer Market
I'd be more than happy if Mancini played that lineup, without Toure, Bridge and Barry that side is bound to ship goals. Also its not a smart thing to replace seasoned campaigners with players that have just stepped into the league. I am pretty sure Mancini is not going to play that lineup on the starting day of the season.
