  1. Like JT, Alex and Ivan was when we let Ricky go? That turned out great, yeah :P I dare hope we learned the lesson in January, Luiz did not come cheap. We need 4 CBs to push for the PL title. How much money would you bet on that we won't have 2 CBs out for more than a few weeks during the next season? Knowing Chelsea's injury records that's bound to happen. Plus JT's back won't be getting better, if he wants to prolong his carrier he has to be rested more often.
  2. Is there anyone left who still rates him as a manager? I might argue that he simply lost his way and will a long time ago, but that still does not change the fact.
  3. He does not play wide left though. Sure, he starts from the left but drifts towards the centre, kinda like Henry did time to time. I would say he fits perfectly to Barca's system which does not use a classic centre forward. Ibrahimovic may have scored more, but Barca as a team is better with Villa. Edit: Maybe I should have read back a bit more :) I can't really imagine him in Chelsea. I don't think the Barca method is the way to go in England. I'd much rather see more width. Anyway, this would probably mean the end for both Drogba and Malouda, and I do not expect huge changes this summer.
  4. No. :) Gullit is one of my all time favourites and it's really saddening to see him in a continuous freefall ever since he was sacked by Bates.
  5. Sic transit gloria mundi.
  6. Apparently both Hiddink and the president of the Turkish FA are on their holidays this week.
  7. The transfer window opens on 1st July...
  8. Not at all. Well obviously there's the obstacle of agreeing a price with Inter, but if we had 50m for Torres then that is a mere formality if we want the player. Sneijder would be a fool to go against the wishes of the missus. Also I trust Mrs. Sneijder has her ways, nothing can beat some womanly suggestions ;) Manu can stick their offer up their arse.
  9. Eset Nod32 Antivirus. I found it to be better than AVG and Avast. It's not free though. Scans with Malwarebytes, HitmanPro and HijackThis when I see the need. No sw firewall, I use the router's.
  10. "Sneijder's wife would apparently prefer a move to London." Should be a done deal then. I wonder, if some Chelsea players' other halves invited her to London for a shopping trip, does that count as a tapping up?
  11. Syrius - Concerto for a Three-Stringed Violin and Five Mugs of Beer
  12. It's quite simple, really. Dzs - is actually one letter, pronounced as J in Joe u - no tricks here, it's like the U in put dzs - J again á - like the first sound of I in line k - i think a K is a K everywhere :) so it's like K in key
  13. try this: http://www.youtube.com/user/razer4660#p/u/10/wdHleV7I7pw and simply skip to 10:12
  14. That he did. ‘I do not believe a Jew can ever be a referee at that level (Argentine Premier League) because it’s hard work and, you know, Jews don’t like hard work.’ FIFA senior vice-president and chair of Finance Committee, Julio Grondona, 5 July 2003. Buenos Aires
  15. And he's the youngest referee ever in a CL final. Manu had players on the pitch older than him.
  16. All right... all right... but apart from better training facilities and better academy and one of the best teams in Europe and more trophies and 100% commitment... what have Roman ever done for us?
  17. Should we start a club? :)
  18. ...and leaving the club this summer.
  19. Kevin Hitchcock's son, Tom, plays for Blackburn tonight.

  22. That's an insult to all the c**ts in the world...
  23. I would imagine his response to the person who brought this up was something like: "Great idea. You're fired." ;)
  24. After the second sunday of April the limit goes up to 15. He will only get a warning and probably a fine. 8. 25. Drogba has to start, so Torres on the bench. I would drop Essien as well as I think both Mikel and Ramires has shown more recently. Cech - Brana, Luiz, JT, Ash - Mikel, Ramires, Lamps - Kalou, Drogba, Malouda
