Schurrle. Followed closely by Hazard. Cahill and Azpi kept things tight at the back.

We've been crying out for a clinical finisher all season. Turns out he's been sitting on our bench...

Azpi for me. Solid at the back and a good assist for the goal. Everyone else was ordinary, injured or knackered.

Would have taken 1-1 before the game. But seeing how average Galatasaray were first half, it felt like a missed opportunity. Was surprised how we fell away second half. Couldn't string a pass together and absolutely no finesse or creativity. Maybe the players were just knackered or injured or both. Cech obliged with his usual indecision on crosses and we were hanging on after that. Predictably, Eto'o for Torres then Mikel for Schurrle to hang on for the draw, made for an agonising watch. Grim stuff after a promising first half hour. Should be enough for us to qualify but I fear for us if we come up against a decent side though.

Great three points considering how indifferent we were first half. Poor Oscar looks shot. Players never gave up though and we got a break. If we win anything this season - with our strikers - it'll be a miracle.

Defence was solid overall. Terry edges it for his part in the goal.

I don't get why Jose didn't start with Luiz and Matic in midfield either. Cahill and Ivanovic as CB with Azpi and Cole at FB. Unless it's to keep punishing Cole for whatever he's done. Not sure that running Hazard, Ramires and Willian into the ground makes much sense either. Just what has Schurrle done wrong anyhow? Just stick Ake, Schurrle, Ba, Lampard, Cole on the pitch and give our key players a break. They couldn't have played much worse. We'd probably still have lost, but so what?

Between Matic and Azpi for me. The rest looked jaded. Mikel was in another dimension. He wasn't actually playing football. He was jogging about watching the opposition score. I could do that.

Jose is really flogging our little horse to death. So much for rotation. It's not fun watching Willian, Eto'o and Hazard run themselves into the ground. Not sure about Ramires wandering about on the right wing either and Mikel thinking the role of DM is to stroll around watching the opposition as they walk the ball into the net. What crime has Schurrle committed by the way? Confusing mess of a performance. At least we can focus on the league now.

Thought we were pretty poor throughout. Cech, Ivanovic, Luiz, Ramires, Oscar and even Hazard by his standards, were well below their best. Can't say I thought Matic did as well as some people seem to think. Thought he was quite sloppy at times. So by a process of elimination I ended up with Cahill. Who was the least worst Chelsea player on the pitch. Think Jose has to take some of the blame for not choosing to freshen things up. He had Schurrle and Cole sat on the bench. While taking off Oscar for Mikel and Eto'o for Torres just seemed to make things worse.

Thought we got found out tonight. Hazard and Oscar looked knackered second half. Schurrle needed to start or at least come on and Ashley Cole probably needed to get a game as Ivanovic looked really stressed out. Torres for Eto'o was just to give Torres a run out and served no tactical purpose. Might as well have brought on a chair. And Luiz rapidly went into meltdown mode soon as the going got tough. Too many tired legs and tired brains. Even Jose wasn't his usual clear thinking self. Mikel on for Oscar is always a sign that the game is running away from us. A terrible second half of confused, overwrought and poor quality football. Even Hazard managed to screw up our one decent opportunity which last week we would've buried. Looks like it was just all too much for our little horse...

Well we messed that up. We were pretty lucky to be one up at half-time. Then we decided to just see out the whole second half. Can't help feeling Jose just let the game drift then decided to bring on Mikel when we were getting overwhelmed. Not many emerged with much credit. Hazard wasted a great breakaway. Oscar was subdued. Luiz fell apart. Ramires was awful. Cech had a nightmare. Ivanovic lost it... Two points down the drain. Might well come back to haunt us.

MOM Hazard. Full of confidence and looks capable of doing as he pleases. Great player. Defence looked solid. Matic, Eto'o and Willian had good games too.

Hazard was terrific. But so was Matic, Willian, Cahill and Cech. Just gave it to Hazard for his sheer class.

I really hope so. Love watching him play. His game is all about speed and power, making runs and finding space. Would be perfect for us. Just the thought of him playing ahead of our midfield would be something else. Would lift the whole team to another level...

Strange team selection by Jose. Lampard should always start against West Ham. Didn't need Mikel and Ivanovic in a game like this. Ba should've started over Eto'o. Azpi over Ivanovic. Matic over Mikel. Luiz over Cahill. Schurrle over Ramires. Much too conservative against a sh*te team playing eleven at the back. Two big points dropped and didn't Jose know it! Two days to buy a striker. Or we're just playing for a Champions League place...
