Terry even if he didn't end up touching the ball his presence lead to the goal and was a rock at the center of our defense

The defense comes away from that with most credit.

I'm giving my vote to Ivan. Nearly scored a cracker himself and created a few good opportunities for others with his excellent crossing. Not bad for a "CB playing at RB" as somebody put it in the match thread.

Dave for me. Did his job plus more and seemed to be everywhere at various stages in the second half.

HM: Matić and Hazard.

Well done, lads. I know it's always good to have a convincing 4-0 or 5-0 win but there is nothing better than the feeling you get when your team nicks it at the end.

Gone for Azpili . None of the attacking players really worth mentioning today when usually one of them is . I personally thought Ramires was promissing today , after the way he has been playing of late it was great to see him pick up the ball and run hard at the box through the midfield- also won our goal winning free kick .

Fizzing over this result

Gone for JT

Even if he didn't touch it in the end, it was his desire was what made the goal, and that's enough for me when lack of desire was my biggest complaint today.

Cech for me - not massively busy but made some critical stops which I feel were the main reason we ended up nicking the points.

I can't even think of a single save Cech had to make today from Everton.

Gone for Matic.

Azpi was good defensively but f**ked up some promising counterattacks

I can't even think of a single save Cech had to make today from Everton.

He made 2 vital saves. One in the first half from Osman which was heading for the top corner and another deflected shot in the second half. He was crucial to us getting the 3 points today.

Tim Howard.

Date for me, best full back in the league this season. Ramires was excellent in the last 20 too.
