This few weeks without watching us play has made me forget how much he annoys me at times.

I'm so glad that the interest in this tournament is low, with any luck the flop leads fifa to lose a sh*t tonne of money.

Our diabolical directors..
I'm not the biggest fan of the SDs, but you can't be mad that we overspend and then be mad when we walk away from deals where teams are trying to rip us off.

Enzo Maresca - Chelsea "Head Coach" *Official NOW SACKED*
Well ignoring that you've inflated our players' wages, fair point about some of the players they've signed recently being on similar wages to ours, but the only ones that are players we'd have wanted (and did want) are Doue and Barcola but again, they're French and wanted to stay in France.

The offers disparity is how much they can offer, you mention the wage bill dropping but the main reason for the drop was basically getting rid of 3 players in Messi, Neymar and Mbappe. It's not like they're offering low wages to their new recruits , Kvarashkelia is on nearly £300k a week and they signed him in January. I'm not gonna pretend our SDs are great because they aren't, I'd happily see them replaced, it's more this PSG w**kfest that's annoying. They're a team that basically can never go bankrupt because they're state owned and their president is a high up UEFA advisor. Their change in their attack has been giving Kvara 300k a week and signing French players who would obviously choose to be at PSG over any other club. Their success is circumstantial and that's why I can't fairly compare it to our project, its not as if we're poor of course, but it's a lot tougher to do it with our resources and in our league.

The comparison of us to PSG is so lazy, I'm fully aware that to some of you the owners/SDs could tell you the sky is blue and you'd argue they're wrong. PSG are in a very lucky situation where they can play their B team in the league most weeks and still win 3-0. The PSG owners have been there for around 12/13 years now, spent billions and have only just won the champions league. In terms of the 'new direction' that they have, let's not pretend that they're some plucky underdog club that are well run and have won the champions league, they've spent a lot of money on young players and put them on massive wages that teams can't compete with. And let's not forget that they've made some very questionable signings, including giving two strikers that totalled about £150m to a manager that doesn't play a striker in his system.

Jamie Gittens joins Chelsea
Lyon already had an agreement with Cherki that he could leave for about 25/30m I think. Lyon also aren't in the CWC and Dortmund are.
-
Joao Felix
I'd rather we just kept him tbh
-
We've got a new Kepa
Glad to have him off the books at last, should have been sold after his cup final antics in his first season.

Liam Delap joins Chelsea *Official*
Come off it, Maresca had zero choice but to play Jackson, it was either that or the false 9 and the false 9 was woeful.

Mike Maignan
I do wonder if other teams fans are as brutal towards their own players and targets as Chelsea fans are. Can't think of a player we've been linked to this summer that hasn't been slagged off to high heaven

I swear Kelleher has only ever had good games against us as well. I'm very happy we weren't in for him.

Mykhailo Mudryk signs for Chelsea
How can we sell him we don't even know if he can play for years? His shirt number has been given to Palmer so the signs aren't great.

Andrey Santos Signs for Chelsea
Big shift for KDH

Andrey Santos Signs for Chelsea
He's got the Don Carlo seal of approval, all I needed to know he's the next Zidane.

Mike Maignan
Age wise it makes sense, we seem to be really high on Penders who's 19 so wouldn't surprise me to see us send him to Strasbourg for a couple of years and then bring him back.
-
Jadon Sancho
It's more I think he's the sort of player that won't get any better, from a skill point of view and a mental point of view. Neto hasn't been great but I've never seen him give up mid game and play like he doesn't want to be there like we have done Noni and Sancho. Out of the wingers you mentioned I think Garnacho would be the only one I'd be pissed off if we signed and I think most of the fanbase would agree with that one.

Mike Maignan
He is a brilliant goalie, but I'd still have just given Petrovic the season. This goalie fire sale is gonna be legendary; Sanchez, Jorgensen, Kepa, Petrovic all up for sale and I imagine Penders goes on loan
-
Jadon Sancho
If Mudryk is gonna be unavailable surely we'd still need another winger alongside Gittens for the LW position? Unless this means Noni is staying which I'd rather not happen.
-
Jadon Sancho
I'm actually pretty happy he's not staying, he started off well but eventually he just fell into the same slump he did at United.

Regarding a plan for the team I think there always has been one that needed time for it to come to fruition, however, my main gripe was some of the funds we've used over the past couple of years could have been redirected to signing a couple of top players instead of players like (not meaning to pick on these individuals) Ugochukwu, Washington, Slonina, David Fofana and Kellyman. I'll die on the hill that most of the players we've signed aren't bad players, but there was no reason for us to go exclusively for young players and not adding a top striker and CB alongside them. I also think managerial appointments have been crap, if we'd have just given a top manager the job from the beginning (we already had one) we'd have saved a lot of severance pay cash.

Cole Palmer signs for Chelsea!
Well I've been slagging Maresca off for the best part of 6 months so I thought I'd give him some credit 😂
