  1. breaking news , Septic Bladder has re-iterated his stance on penalty shoot outs. He thinks they are great. Bad luck ladies , well done on getting there.
  2. I'm not going to try and count but between 1990 and 1994 I was at about a quarter of all away games. I couldn't afford to go to them so had to stagger away games. We would literally save up for them over a months period. Although most London games were a gimme so I guess a good few.
  3. I wouldn't say I've seen in real life many superstars who play the game. Zola was stand out above any , completely different to watching on telly. Never had a player who was loved nearly as much by other fans as ourselves , says it all for me.
  4. Having watched the game in full once since watching live , right through to winning it and then other bits and pieces what I missed was that we didn't get battered by Munich. I mean when watching on Saturday night I was sure we got a good lesson. 2nd time around it wasn't half as bad as I thought and also noticed we had a lot more of the ball than I seen on Saturday. I clocked the Neuer thing , but not the Torres thing til afterwards , but hey didn't care really beer had taken hold. A couple of reasons for this , obviously less tense and able to enjoy the game , I wasn't clouded by Heineken. Am I alone in this ?
  5. Thought he would go to Citeh and still do TBH.
  6. Rock , paper , scissors ? Have a good weekend Sepp , you've made me even happier knowing you're rattled you window licker.
  7. Out of the lot of those guys , Essien is the one I would be most sad to see go. It would be fair to say that he was one of the most feared players by supporters of other teams and their players (ha ha). I wonder if he could regain some of that if he didn't have such a long lay off. the other guys , cheers fella's thanks for all your efforts and wish them well in the future.
  8. I know , but its all opinion and we all want the best for our club , so lets enjoy the banter (as best we can). As some manager (forget who he was now!!! Sorry Brian) a few years ago said " we sit down discuss things , and then decide that I'm right !"
  9. ****puts mike93 in the do not upset pile****
  10. I would hate things to go sideways for Robbie in 6 months 9 months or whatever the case may be. But this fella deserves a shot (and Eddie) , here is a team who are not all about "the money". Are they vastly experienced in comparison to others out there ? Probably not , but all the lads we've had come and have a go with vast C.V's barring Jose and Carlo have no kudos over the boys now. The way they have managed the lads is remarkable in my eyes. Being a good coach or tactical wizard is one thing , but man management is huge on the list and that is one thing we have all witnessed. I'm not dewey eyed over the sentimental side of this argument , simply put in my opinion they have earned it , deserve it on merit.
  11. That clown Gabriel Clark when interviewing Robbie after the FA Cup win , called him a lucky manager. Bollox , that is dis-crediting what he has done for us , and really was a slur on what Robbie had achieved. Now add to that ECL and he needs to be shown the utmost respect by media but also by Chelsea. I hope at this minute they are sorting out a deal for Robbie and Eddie (who need to receive serious respect as well). Show some class and loyalty and offer a good term contract to them. 3 months or so ago we were in rag order , now we are European champions , I still can't quite believe that. After all the managers we've had , all the false dawns , finally a team delivers to us under unbelieveable circumstances what I have seen as the top of the tree for many years. More power to both Robbie and Eddie , cause at the minute I'm in dreamland and that wouldn't have happened without them.
  12. Everytime I watch both those moments Torres at Barcelona and Didier scoring the penalty , my hayfever automatically errupts. Swelled eyes , red eyes quite watery and a lump in my throat which no -one seems to understand is a major hayfever effect. Its hayfever I tell you
  13. I think its the right decision in as much as I would hate to have seen him stay with us and decline as a player by his own high standards. That said its a hard moment for me , because its going to signal the end of an era (whilst another starts I know). we have watched this man frustrate us , but also astound us. Jamie Carraghers piece on him was amazing. This man was unplayable at his best and even when not , he was still a game winner. I'm not saying this without thought or genuine feeling , but I don't think I will ever see a player like him of his type at Chelsea again , simply because he is a one off.
  14. When I seen us win the ZDS cup way back , I thought that would take some beating. On reflection Saturday night may just have eclipsed it.
  15. No surprise to me whatsoever. There has always been a media agenda against us , its not paranoia this just emphasizes it. As Stevo says f**k the bbc cause we are carefree.
  16. which would be easier !!! me trying to be helpful n all , I'm still in shock give me a bit of leeway.
  17. Everyone I don't know if you have seen this but ChelseaTv is free at the minute. Go onto our website and just input promo code. enjoy !!!
  18. got goosebumps watching that , I reckon Cundy's dancing around and telling Frank to shut up is the funiest thing I've seen in a while. I also told the missus to shut up , whilst sitting ,standing ,kneeling ,jumping. She is well used to it by now.
  19. I have liked boobs for manys a year , good subject.
  20. It won't be until I see him in another shirt with his name on the back , that I will truly understand how much he meant to me. Some of the old guard on here will remember Ossie and say he was the best , for me in my time there has never been a player quite like Didier and I include Franco in that.
  21. Ashley for me , he was immense.
  22. Yea when I read that post I had to put it on here. I was disappointed myself with the timing of it (if it were true) and as I said this poster has no affiliation to us whatsoever. It certainly painted a different picture for me , these f**king newspaper gobsh*tes.
  23. OK guys just copied this from elsewhere (not a football forum and certainly not chelsea supporters!) so poster would have no biased reason to post this "Okay. I know at least one journo personally who was there in the mixed zone last night noting down the same words, and unless he's lying for no reason I can fathom, Torres has been completely misportrayed there, the remarks on his deamenour contradict everything I've been told, and I think (never!) this tabloid is going for cheap sensationalism." I believe this was to do with the newspaper article not sure if Ballague got his info this way.
  24. I'm not sure what to make of this really. I'm disappointed with Torres and the timing , but look at the man celebrating , he wan't under any duress or faking it.
  25. I think you know what happens when im drunk , i love you al i love chelsea , i cant believe we are eiropean champions , im so happy everyone i love you all im going to bed befroe i make a tit of myeslf .
