Its getting close now , and although I'm not going I'm so excited for all of you who are. Reading your posts is just awesome and filling me with pride at the exodus that is happening. Planes , trains and automobiles ! In case I'm not able to wish you all well over the next few days , I will take that chance now. Be safe , enjoy it , AVE IT ! Got to be the worst performance I have seen in a long time , even worse than Everton away. Whilst not a Chelsea player , this involves an ex Arsenal player. Many years ago I used to work all round Ladbroke Grove/ Kensal Green area. Anyway working in this gaff and the bloke says to me that this player is always across the road , meeting his special "friend". Course he does says I , anyway finish the job leave the house pull out to the Harrow Road and low and behold who is turning in , bold as brass. Anyway a little while later he left his wife for this special "friend" , and I think has left this special "friend" for another. I think you know who it is...

I reckon its a 50/50 game. Yes we have lost some of our most important players , but I see what we did against Barcelona as all I need to know about this teams courage. Bayern are going to be a handful , but so are we to them.

I went for Lampsy. The way he side stepped Spearing (I think) for the pass to Didier was enough for me. He has been slagged by the media and yet he he was playing in the 2012 FA CUP final and providing a killer pass. He still has it. Oh yessssssssss , the PMS is starting to set in. Got a bit of a moral conundrum. Christening at 4 pm , I mean jesus thats just so wrong. Anyhoo will be there til 4.30pm and then back home straightaway for around 5pm for the big match. Cans chilling in the fridge (loads of them). Oh yessssssssssssssssssssssssss , I love cup final day , its the F**KIN FA CUP FINAL , waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

@Bluebeard. I agree with everything you say , and whilst its certainly not a donedeal , I've kind of come to the conclusion that in all likelihood we are moving somewhere. All those memories you have give me goosebumps , thinking of getting the train to Earls Court , waiting for the Fulham Broadway train. Getting off and hearing the singing straightaway , walk up to the bridge , get a programme into the Shed , anticipating the game. "We're the middle , we're the middle , we're the middle of the shed" , "we're the west side , we're the west side , we're the west side of the shed". Great memories which can never be taken away from me or you or any Chelsea fan , no matter where we are. (and the West Stand chair sitting in my dining room !)

Being part of Chelsea is my tribe. Forums don't make me feel anymore or any less tribal. I'm un-bothered by other teams and their fans or forums for a simple reason they mean nothing to me. Now of course I will get into slagging with other fans and thats all part of it. Here is an example of why I pay little attention to other fans. 6 games ago in the CL , Utd fans (and it was only these) were saying Cavani , Lavezzi , Hamsik are going to destroy you. 4 games ago in the CL , again Utd fans were telling me benfica were going to beat us. Onto Barcelona and you know where this is going. On the night I had a nice few messages from Utd (and Pool) fans saying c'mon Chelsea. Back at work the next day and Bayern Munich are going to destroy us , now thats not tribalism , its be-grudgery. Tribal ? Absolutely. Be-grudgery ? I don't have that in me , and I feel better for it.

Just one of those games I guess. But i have no complaints against the team , look it didn't happen tonight but look at where we are. 2 cup finals with the chance of getting CL football if we win one of them. Offered me that 4 months ago , I would have taken the arm of you. Cmon boys lets win these finals!!! KTBFFH
