For those of you interested I was asked to pick 5 songs for my mum's (Moi) funeral which was this morning. Obviously all five to be songs she loved.

The five, in the order played at the funeral, were

3. Jean Redpath and Abby Newton - Who Shall Count for Thee

4. Nick Drake - Northern Sky

5. Allan Taylor - Colour to the Moon

Condolences Loz. I never realised Moi was your Mum. Lovely selection of songs - no doubt you gave her the send-off she deserved.

I've got to the stage where I often think about what songs I want at my funeral. It always used to be 3 songs but great if you can have 5. Certain songs mean so much to our lives and I would rather have that that some guy spouting a load of religious nonsense that meant nothing to me.
