mad_mac Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 Played for every team you hate? Well, Robbie Keane, with his stupid forward roll celebration has just completed that feat. Leeds > Tottenham > Liverpool > Tottenham > Celtic. What a right Stephen Hunt!
Nibs Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 Played for every team you hate?Well, Robbie Keane, with his stupid forward roll celebration has just completed that feat. Leeds > Tottenham > Liverpool > Tottenham > Celtic. What a right Stephen Hunt! Bloody Hell what a good spot. You've just gotta hate Robbie Keane for that list of clubs. Hilarious on TalkSport Yesterday when they played his press interview from when he joined Liverpool and he came out with some old bollox about realising a childhood dream to play for the club he always loved. He then came out with EXACTLY the same line this week when he joined Celtic! What a c**t! Hope for his sake he has taken his Mrs with him to Scotland. If he has left her down in London, a certain someone may just pay her a visit.......................
loz Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 He had a great début for Celtic - missed a fair few chances and lost 1-0 to Kilmarnock. I wonder if the same Celtic fans I heard yesterday on the radio saying that Celtic would push on to win the league with Keane will be quite so boisterous this morning. At least Alan Brazil won't be. I dare say he will be focusing on our draw with Hull.
The Machine Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 There are not many that spring to mind apart from Robbie Keane. It is amazing to think about the number of clubs that Robbie Keane has played for. LOL he is the Irish equivalent of Nicolas Anelka
BlueBeard Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 I honestly don't think any other player has lowered himself to play for so many sh*te teams, but here's a few that tried: - Neil Ruddock surpassed himself by playing at Millwall, Tottenham, Liverpool, QPR, West Ham & Crystal Palace Clive Allen had a damn good go, being on the books at QPR, Arsanal, Crystal Palace, Tottenham, West Ham & Millwall, though redeemed himself slightly by playing at the Bridge for all too brief a period. I think he liked London. Ian Wright had a good try, with Arsenal, West Ham, Crystal Palace & Septic. Teddy Sheringham appeared for Millwall, Tottenham, Man.Utd & West Ham John Hartson made a decent effort with Arsenal, West Ham, Septic & Wales (my apologies to sheep-shaggers everywhere!) Rio Ferdinand cheated for West Ham, Leeds, Man.Utd, Millwall (youth) and QPR (youth) Dishonourable mentions must also go to: - Gary Lineker - bored as he scored at Everton, Barcelona, Tottenham....and Leicester Charlie Nicholas let himself down by playing for Septic, Arsenal & Aberdeen Peter Crouch lumbered about the pitch for QPR, Liverpool, Villa & Tottenham Kenny Dalglish excelled himself by not only playing for, but also managing Septic & Liverpool Harry Kewell - Leeds, Liverpool, Galatasaray Joe Jordan - Leeds, Man.Utd, Milan Lee Chapman - Arsenal, Leeds, West Ham
geezer Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 Hope for his sake he has taken his Mrs with him to Scotland. If he has left her down in London, a certain someone may just pay her a visit....................... Well I would if I knew her address.........
Backbiter Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 Keane, remember, turned us down and chose to join Leeds.
Jones1905 Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 I posted on my facebook exactly that... a player who can play for all those clubs in 1 lifetime has to be my most hated! I also said that I'd like to personally congratulate all of the Kilmarnock players for ruining his debut :)
Ruh Buh Juh Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 I just thought it was hilarious to see some Septic fan hold his Keane #7 shirt high...I guess he isn't aware that he'll be gone by the end of the season!
moi Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 Bloody Hell! I keep forgetting what this thread is about so I open it thinking it's going to be something juicy! My dementia's getting worse!
mad_mac Posted February 4, 2010 Author Posted February 4, 2010 Didn't Roy Keane also have a terrible debut when he came up to Celtic

The Machine Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 Didn't Roy Keane also have a terrible debut when he came up to Celtic He did indeed. His first game was at Kilmarnock on Tuesday night, where Celtic lost 1-0 to fall 10 points behin Rangers in the SPL.
The Machine Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 OMG, this means he's heading for Amsterdam to play for Ajax next. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!! I do not think that will happen so no need to worry Valerie  :D
