My mate in the office knows them hence all his family are fans.

Lots of folk from back home are already getting psyched for T in the Park. Not sure if I'll attend anything this year...surely a couple of gigs here and there, but no festivals planned yet. Think I'll save my money and make a trip to the Phillipines

Hmmm...looks like I might have to go to Ruis Rock next summer as they've just confirmed that The Specials will be playing there. Outdoor venue is probably not the best place for a band like the Specials and I've heard that Dammers isn't part of the lineup, but I'd still love to go.

Cheapskates - £2.50 to get into the Cove & Kilcreggan ale festival (although I got to take a specially engraved pint pot home with me). Aaargh local community life.

The Stavern festival. Usually contain Norwegian bands only, but this year they managed to get Simple Minds, so it'll be a trip down the 80'ies memory lane :)

Just seen Lady Gaga (end of Feb) and will be seeing her again late May, both at the O2. Green Day in June at Wembley - immense!!

If i can find some way of raising some cash, i would love to head to glade festival and also secret garden party

They were going to play a festival down the road from me last summer, I had a ticket but the locals complained and got it cancelled, the bar stewards. Gutted I missed the Special.s

This year I'm going to Hop Farm Festival and Reading, I was going to go to Download too, but I can't afford three. I'll probably attend most of the smaller local ones that happen within thirty or so miles though.

Did anyone get to see Whitney Houston...sounds f**king great! I'd go just for the entertainment value... couldn't give a toss about her music
