Without Cech that would have been 4 or 5 and to be honest we probably deserved that kind of a beating.

Piss poor performances all over the park. Idiotic by Terry, poor defending by Ferreira, shocking display by Lampard, terrible passing by just about everyone, Anelka invisble after he came on. To be honest there wasn't an outfield player that impressed me.

I didn't think Ivanovic was that bad after he came on - at least not relative to the rest of them.

Cech's the only one who remotely deserves a MOTM vote, though.

F*ckin' awful display, you're right Loz, if it hadn't been for Petr it could have been far worse.

I'd also like to give Ancelotti minus 10 for his selection of Ferreira when he knew he'd be facing Bale, a disaster waiting to happen.

cech end of...can't we just delete all mention of this game from the forum?...I never want to be reminded of the disgraceful showing I just witnessed...I'm embarassed to be a chelsea fan tonight...that says it all...the players owe us big time after that...JT...F*cking awful

Obviously voted for Petr. Think you're a little harsh on Frank loz, don't think it was in midfield we lost the game. That might have been the only area we were actually competent, we kept the ball well enough in the second half and defensively the damage was done down the flanks. At least Frank kept on and got the goal at the finish. I'd also like to give Ballack some credit who actually moved for a change and put in some good balls including the one for the goal.

There are more candidates for Worst on Ground. The captain has got some questions to answer, as he seemed to lead the indiscipline that plagued our second half. Drogba was also terrible and Paulo was really showed up by Bale.

much as i'd love to buck the trend and give kudos to ANY of our outfield players, in all honesty i can't.

while malouda and zhirkov were probably the best of a very poor bunch MOTM has to go to petr cech for keeping the scoreline at a respectable level.

Even though he was poor for their second goal it can only be Cech. 2-1 was about the best score we could have hoped for given how poorly we played.

wasn't that at fault for the second as you make out..he couldn't have expected paulo to defend so pathetically to allow bale such an easy route to goal and he had to stand a bit away from the near post cos he had the whole goal to block...it was also a good shot from a guy who normally only uses his left foot

Should have done better on the second goal but Cech was class today i thought. His save from defoe when he went through, he save from bale when bale was through in second half. His catching and punching was much better today. I hope he is the only one carlo speaks to in english today (except ivan)

Cech for me as well....the only players worth a mention would be Yuri, Alex, and Ivan. The rest left their playing boots at home today, and after a 3 hour exam that kind of game was the last thing I wanted to see when I got home.

According to the famous retired English referee Graham Poll, the red card we looked at in a meeting with Tottenham, John Terry was the correct decision of Judge Phil Dowd.

Phil Dowd had the opportunity to a few big decisions at White Hart Lane. I would agree with him when it comes to a penalty kick after John Terry's hands. Body language of the former England captain argued the whistle - Graham Poll found.

Dowd has already been able to identify the lime after John Obi Mikel faulował Gareth Bale, wanting to be cautious, however, dictated only corner. Two fouls, which have sent Terry to the locker room is a simple matter. His attempt to arrest Bale looks, of course, it was a reckless stroke - he writes a column in its former judge.

It was good to see effective decisions Dowd again after his last matches were full of uncertainty - Poll ends.
