The next bands you are going to see?

Squeeze were brilliant last night. Tilbrook is just phenomenal as a singer and guitarist.

Lightning Seeds were also good in support. Not a fan of their wimpy pop with drippy vocals, but they made a decent sound, and their guitar-based version of Life of Riley was really good.

I died and went to heaven last night for two and a half hours sharing multiple musical orgasms with Imogen Heap; still trying to catch my breath

Saw Primal Scream play 'screamadelica' in full last night at Olympia and it was fantastic.

Great to see lots of mid thirties people off their faces with hands in their air like the good old days!

Frank Turner tonight in Leicester! So excited, I saw him 2 years ago as a supporting act to Gaslight Anthem, fast became one of my favourites, now I can FINALLY see him headlining!!

Saw The Church at mighty Milton Theatre (our local venue down here) on Saturday night. Such a great venue & only 200 capacity. All for $42.00 and they played for 3 and a half hours! Lovely.

Hope they come to Europe, checked out their website and see they're off to the states in the new year so maybe next summer

Last night i saw The Pogues in a stupidly snowy Birmingham. 7th time in a row ive been to the Xmas tour and it was the 7th time in a row it was totally magical. Ive been very lucky these 7 years with Shane who can be very erratic, and it all depends what sort of state he is in.

They few in a few surprises last night which was great. 10 years to the day Kirsty was killed so Fairytale was very poignant, but in reality it was Thousands Are Sailing which was the true dedication and was simply awesome.

Brum crowds are always great for The Pogues but on a Saturday night it was even better. As we left i noticed the bar only had cider and spirits left to sell!

The National is coming to town next week and Aggrolites will be here later next month. I've never seen National before, so hopefully it's worth the ticket. I've seen Aggrolites a few times before, so I'm expecting a fun night and hopefully they won't disappoint.

why? watcha planning?

well i heard that there will be a footy match in the wembley that day for some minor trophy. wouldn't mind if a certain team in blue won it ;)

Looking at seeing Frank Turner again, in Nottingham's Rescue Rooms. I saw him before Christmas and Leicester's O2 Academy and he was brilliant, but I definitely feel he's much better performing to a smaller crowd, being more interactive, with just his acoustic guitar.
