What I would like to know is who are they lining up. The current Porto manager is doing a fine job. Manuel Pellegrini did a lot better than people think for Real last season. Obviously Guus, but he has said he is staying with Turkey.

I dont think he will get sacked. I think Roman is thinking who the hell he can get.

I cant see Ancelotti going to Roma - think he would want someone a bit bigger.

Only ones I can think is Roman would want Mourinho back (i keep reading they are still buddies and Mourinho said before he would like to come back?) or try and poach Guardiola?

Other than that, i cant see him going for anyone else as he seems to be attracted to the big guns. So I reckon Carlo will end up staying

To me, the point is not whether Redknapp hints at Ancelotti's future or lack of involvement in Chelsea transfers but rather why does he think he has a right to comment on that at all.

I don't see Carlo, Gourlay or Buck coming out with statements on what Spurs or any other club plan to do, do you? Harry is out of order here, and it's not the first time the gets caught talking out of his arse. Whatever Chelsea problems may be, they're none of his concern and shouldn't be discussed in public by Tottenham manager, of all people.

We made them pay more for a player we didn't really want, and he's annoyed. I haven't seen the hint of 'sacked' in this report, maybe that's just me.

He had a part in almost destroying Pompey, then picked players from them like a vulture picking flesh of a corpse. Yet not one writer or reporter picked him up for it.

Is exactly right. He is an absolute scavenger and he gets alot of credit for turning a perrennial underachiever into a decent side. I think I might be able to do the same if I had a limitless supply of players.
